He heard us, because he looked our way, & turned right around. Thankfully, we found another employee who was super nice. He's the Only reason they're getting 2 stars. He ended up getting what he needed, but we didn't shop further, & we won't be back. I worked in customer service for the Longest time, I was shocked by the lack of education of this employee. This is No way to treat people. We'll be giving another establishment our money, & we were ready to drop a lot as I'm getting into golf myself. They need to retrain their employees.

They offer so many different types of clothing, golf accessories and new and used clubs. I've bought a few sets of clubs here both for myself and my kids and they are all top quality! I also like how they have a 3 month return policy and if you want to upgrade your clubs within 1 year you get a $699.99 credit for any pre-packaged Adult Package or Starter Set. I haven't used that for myself but I did take advantage of that for my kids. I also like their indoor driving range to try out new clubs. I've purchased clothing and golf accessories here as well and they have a super great selection and variety. Overall, I just wish the sales employees weren't so condescending to women.... but the younger guys don't do that as much, so like I said, just try to get a younger guy to help you if you're female and it will be a much more pleasant shopping experience! He said they were the Ferrari of club fitters. "Master Fitter" had me hit my 7 iron and then had me hit different 6 irons. He ran the numbers on the "optimizer" and said I could only get 10 yards more from my 7 iron and that the club was doing its job. Stopped the iron fitting there and went to driver. Today, Jeff had me warm up, casually asking about my game, usual ball flight etc. He explained to me the potential causes of my misses. One of the reasons being, the club was too light. He gave me a lot of really priceless swing tips. We worked on with different shafts and heads... he explained the process and connected it to my swing. He put stickers on the face to show where I was hitting the ball. He always reviewed distance trends and took in to account the flight of my misses. Thankfully I was able to execute his tips and the average carry of my 7 iron was amazing. On course, my TOTAL distance would be 120. After Jeff's club and swing magic, my CARRY was 130. Total sometimes 140-150. So excited to get my new set of irons. My only regret is I didn't come here first. I'll be coming back here for woods and have him check with driver I got from. Club champion. I really wish I went here first. Iron fitting was $150 but the swing tips alone I feel was so much more. Will be telling everyone to come here. When I arrived to the Golf Galaxy I asked the registered representative (super nice girl) where do I need to go to make an appointment to get my irons re gripped, she instructed me to go in the far right corner of the building and someone will help me. As I arrived to the fitting dept the store was pretty dead, no rush hour. I was waiting for a few mins to get someone's attention at the fitting dept finally someone came out the back and the guy walked passed by me and didn't acknowledge or even greet me. Not even a "Hello I'll be with you in just a min" nothing. So I continued to look around the grip section to see what I wanted to purchase. I noticed the same guy that walked past me was in the middle of the isle next to the fitting dept talking to another associate and just mingling, not helping another customer. I walked up to him and asked nicely "Hello, do you work back here" he replied "Yes" but had smirk on his face as if I was bothering him. He finally went to the register and asked me "How can I help you?" I said "I'm looking to get my irons re gripped and get a new shaft for my driver" I asked "May I have your name" he said "my name is Hunter" I than asked Hunter if he had any recommendations on brands for a shaft? He really didn't seem enthusiastic to help just sat on his chair and continued to enter in all my information on his system. So I just proceeded to look at what they had and went with the same brand I originally had on my driver. Normally with this service I would've just left but I was planning to head out to a golfing trip and turn around was pretty fast (24 hours) I wish I would've caught the gentleman's name when I picked up my clubs because he was more friendlier and seemed to that he was willing to help. Hunter, I didn't feel like the level of customer service matched what I was expecting. It came across a bit dismissive. I'm sharing this because good customer service makes a huge difference, especially in a place where people are looking for guidance and expertise. Taking a little extra time to listen, engage, and be approachable can really improve the experience for customers. I hope you take this constructively and use it as an opportunity to improve. Parking is ample as it is in a huge lot with other establishments. The inside is really clean and huge! They have a wide selection of companies they carry in stock on the floor - Titleist, Callaway, Taylormade, etc. They also have a section for used items and some of the items look like new! In the back, they have a golf simulator where some people were there to hit some golf balls. They also have a section where you can customize your golf clubs and regrip them. It appears that they also offer golf lessons.

The inventory isn't as big as a Roger Dunn & 2nd Swing, but most golfers don't have $500+ to spend on a sport they play recreationally. Once you walk in to this modest facility they will greet you and remember your name. Communication is solid both in store and online. They pride themselves on that and it shows. Mostly used clubs, but offered at a more than fair price. Theses guys know their inventory and offer services like: lessons, grip repair, etc. You can tell this is their passion that started in their garage and now made it to a store. They may not be any other golf stores in Chino, but even if there were this is the place to go. It's easy to becoming a repeat/loyal customer here. They treat you like you're one whether you buy something or not.
