Finding a good boba spot hasn't been easy, but this place has become my go-to whenever I'm craving one. What keeps me coming back isn't just the drinks--it's the people. The staff are always kind, welcoming, and incredibly professional. They're young, but they carry themselves with such maturity and genuine care that it makes every visit a pleasant experience. I've noticed that in some places, young employees can be loud, distracted, or come across as unapproachable. But not here. Every time I visit, I see these young women quietly doing their jobs, patiently waiting to help customers, treating everyone with respect, and creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere. It's refreshing to see such a strong work ethic and professionalism. Sometimes, it's the simple moments that mean the most: sitting quietly with a good drink, taking a break from the world, and enjoying a little peace. I'm truly grateful to have found a place like this here on the Big Island. To the entire team--thank you for the wonderful service and for proving that kindness and professionalism have no age. Keep up the amazing work! Thank you!

Sticky rice drink was amazing! Everything the family ordered was great! Highly recommend!read more

The farmers market has good variety, multiple booths with a little something different--from mangosteen, multiple varieties of mangoes, egg fruit, soursop, and jackfruit to seasonal local favorites. I always make it a point to visit during Sharwil avocado season. They're rich, buttery and string-free, definitely my favorite avocado. And don't miss lychee season. It's an open market that is shaded that creates a cool environment while you shop. parking available across the street and directly in front. The vendors are very helpful and will allow you to try a fruit on the spot. Most are cash only.

There's vendors of people selling souvenirs, art pieces and stickets, and a couple of ladies selling jewelry. Beware the prices of the jewelry pieces. I think $47 for a ring is expensive personally. I can't justify spending $80+ on two rings, which are made of stainless steel and look to be worth $10-15 on Amazon. The ladies here don't even say if they're handmade or anything, but anything for a memento I guess. Across the street is the fruits and produce. Lots of flies and bugs around. Parking lot is on rough rubble and it's a one way and small. Be careful and take care driving in, don't want any popped tires or anything. Overall a quick visit for us after walking through. I think we saw someone setting up to play some live music for the atmosphere.

The servers were running around all night, and it seemed that they were a little bit understaffed. However, they still did their best to attend to us, and food came out promptly. As most other pho shops, they provide plenty of bean sprouts, mint, lemons, and sauces (oyster sauce/Sriracha) to enjoy. Pho Rare Beef (6.5/10) - the broth was good, flavorful, rich and salty as expected from Vietnamese pho. As this spot is kind of a Viet/Chinese fusion, don't go in expecting the best pho of your life. However, the broth is definitely delicious and will fix your pho cravings - only comment is regarding the beef itself. Some of the pieces were definitely a little thicker, tougher, and at points difficult to chew. The beef was not then these sliced into the brisket that I'm used to finding, but that's OK Overall, pretty good pho spot on the Big Island with quite tasty broth. Only wish that the beef was either thinner and easier to chew, or more tender.

Daughter said "Pho!" so we went to Lam's for takeout. What a treat! OxTail pho, with huge pieces of succulent oxtail. The soup was fine, but it was the oxtail that made the day. The shrimp rolls were fine too, fresh and tasty. We ordered an extra pile of noodles, and there was more than enough for two. Great deal, and lovely to eat while we were packing for the flight home! Thanks Lam's!!!
