He got me the estimate quickly and then came back out again to do exact measurements for the final estimate. Again, just very helpful throughout the process. Waiting for the windows took a while so I think we did end up waiting like 2-3 months between that visit and getting them installed which was the only negative of our experience. Installation team was fantastic. I think there were 3-4 people there. Ed was in charge. Just nice guys, we felt comfortable having them in the house. Cleaned up very well. Everything looks great and very professionally installed. Kept us updated with some random things they found (rotting wood) when reframing the windows. Again answered questions anytime we had them. On time both coming and leaving. Cost seems reasonable for what we got and from speaking with friends but I'm no window expert. Planning on having them come back out next year to finish the rest of the windows. Good experience overall.

It feels like a major home renovation. And in a lot of ways, it was -- the last three windows that Louie and Ameon expertly replaced for me turned out to be fully rotted around the frames, unbeknownst to me. As with the previous job, they handled everything with extreme care and attention to detail. The house was again spotless when they left. I felt like I was in great hands throughout. Cannot recommend Emerald more highly, but especially these two experts on their team!

I called them at 3pm on the day of their scheduled visit, and it was obvious they'd completely forgotten about me). Then their $400 estimate struck me as high, so I called Del Val. My Del Val contact, Mark, asked thorough questions. Both times his guys showed up (for the assessment and then the installation), it was within minutes of the scheduled time. Final repair cost me $195 - Mark's exact estimate - and the window looks great. Service guys were friendly and quick. The next time apocalyptic weather conditions affect my casa, I'm calling these DelVal first.

About 4-6 weeks later, Blake contacted me and scheduled for installation. Robert and his team did an excellent job installing the windows. I had a total of 11 windows installed on the first floor of my property in Nov 2023. They completed the job in 1 and half days. It could have been done in one day but the sunset in November didn't allow. Some of the pictures of the completed job are shown below. I'd been given several quotes from big box stores, handyman and manufacturer, and the price for the quality I wanted was out of my budget. I found Zen Windows on Angie's List. Mak was quick to respond and provided me options. I got the quality I wanted for a very fair price PLUS it was so easy! I didn't have to wait days/weeks for someone to come out to measure and "sell" me a door. The communication with Mak and the installer, John, was easy. The installer arrived on time and went out of his way to resolve some obstacles my house presented. Quality was important for me as this oversize door is opened/closed many times throughout the day (let the dogs out, let the dogs in: repeat). It was more than just the door but the over hang as well. It had fell down and squirrels had made a home :( The gentleman that took the call gave the information to Jim. He is the father and the owner of the company. Jim called and set up a time to come look at the job. When he showed up, he felt like family. Coming in through the back of the house he looked at the work I wanted done. He sat down in my basement and told us what they would do, took pictures of the damage and dictated everything into a recorder about the whole process. We gave him a small deposit toward the job. He gave me a receipt. What I liked about Jim is he let me know what I needed and didn't need and was very upfront about the price. This company never stood us up. Came on time, did a great job. The door is beautiful as well. They even framed out and put up my old wrought iron screen door. They were even thoughtful enough to measure the peep hole to my height (I'm the shorty in the family). We also decided to let We Care do our roof. One of Jim's sons came out and video taped the roof. We looked at the tape and Jim went over the damage with us and gave us our options. WOW! It was nice to see the roof without climbing a ladder LOL! We decided on a 2 coat white Elastomeric Silicone roof because it helps keep the house cooler in the summer. They even treated the skylight. After it was all done they came back to my home and showed us the video of the completed roof and mailed us a copy of video. We Care is not the cheapest company I've come across. but they do quality work, respectful of your time, do follow up calls to make sure you are happy with their work and respectful of your property. This is so rare now adays! I wish they did more types of home improvements besides windows, doors, roofs etc. We Care is a family owned business with Jim (owner) and his 3 sons Justin, Jeff & James that have been in business for a few decades.
