He called when I was free, and in chatting with me he realized that it had been a rough road for me over the last couple of months and was eager to help. He suggested that I actually come into his office the next day instead(!). Fast forward to appt time, he took my lengthy history of sinus issues, persistent coughing, constant congestion, the works. You could almost see the wheels turn as he tried to put the puzzle pieces together to proactively help me with all of my symptoms that I was experience and figure out the best solution to alleviate them for me. He spent 70 minutes with me, listening, talking, allergy testing, asthma testing to get to the bottom of it. I couldn't disagree more with the previous posts. She has listened to everything I had to say, has been extremely patient and kind. I've been in tears due to the frustration of my illness, and Dr. Judd was compassionate and made me feel much more optimistic. Rheumatologic conditions are frustrating, both for the patient and doctor. Getting positive results can take time to achieve. I am on very high doses of pain medication and she has NEVER acted suspicious towards me. There is definitely a period of adjustment getting comfortable with your new Rheumatologist. She may be an introvert, but don't mistake that for apathy. She most definitely cares. I called…read moreto get an appointment as a first time patient (doctor recommendation) and the only available was two months out. I've waited this long, I can wait a little longer. Happily, a cancellation opened up a spot for me much sooner. I hurriedly filled out the requisite forms that were emailed to me, very convenient. The office is located in a small medical/business building that, fortunately, has quite a few handicapped parking spots. I was early, lunch time for the office, but was let in to wait which was very nice. I can't say enough of how lovely everyone in this office is. Very nice, accommodating and friendly. I felt very comfortable. I'm also very hopeful Dr. Rivera can help me with my health issues. For now, I am waiting on the results of a blood panel which may determine my diagnosis. Either way, there seems to be options on helping me feel better. Did I mention how wonderful everyone in this office is?
