I've had two rings made here. Both took about 6 months to complete. In one ring, one of the small diamonds fell out after a few hours of wearing it. In another, my engagement ring, the diamond came loose after I wore it sparingly over the course of a year. Eric seemed knowledgeable. He replaced the small diamond in my ring that fell out and the prices are very low (wholesale). But I just can't trust that another stone won't come loose or fall out. That, plus the long wait time (with little communication) to receive the rings are the reason for my rating. read more

BEWARE OF FRAUDULENT COMPANY******** I am the owner of 3D Print Pros, a jewelry manufacturing company in downtown, Los Angeles. I worked with Philip and co for around 1 year and they disappeared as it was time to pay their balance. We have sent them thousands of dollars in jewelry and had to send many emails, letters and phone calls to receive most payments. After months of no calls back, they still owe my company money. They may have okay jewelry and decent pricing , but that is because they do not pay their manufacturers. Do yourself a favor, find an honest and decent company to purchase your jewelry. read more

My first experience with them was 24 years ago after I lost my original wedding ring. Our neighbor worked there and he was a great guy, so we bought a gorgeous ring from Philip and Co. A few years ago my mother-in-law passed away and I needed to get her jewelry appraised to divide evenly among relatives. Eric did the job quickly AND WITHOUT CHARGING ME! It was such a nice thing during a stressful time. They repaired jewelry/watches for me and appraised my own pieces (with photos for insurance). They recently updated their showroom. It's been an absolute nightmare dealing with Philip & Co. While their prices are great, there is no sense of customer service and respect. Beware if you have to order a ring that you can expect to hear many promises about when it will arrive and be ready etc. that will be outright lies. Expect to make many phone calls trying to figure out why the employees can't do their job competently. My wedding band took over a month to be shipped to me (I live outside of Utah). Turns out it was the wrong size and it's been another 4 weeks and I'm still waiting for my properly-sized ring. Maddening. read more

Awful company. Bought a ring and was told it would take two weeks to make, a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately it took FIVE weeks to make with not a single phone call made to me by them. I called them five times and each time I got a bogus excuse as to why my ring was not finished and a promise that they would call me in a few hours with more details only never to be called. The week I finally got it I had to call them three times just to get confirm the day and time only to show up and find that it wasn't done and I'd have to wait even more! recently, my mother brought an antique ruby ring of my grandmothers to be resized. the ring was given to my grandmother in 1915. the ring returned was not my grandmothers ring. they refuse to tell us who resized the ring or help us in any way. they insist that what they gave us was the original. this is fraud!!! do not go here read more

My family has been going here for four generations. We have never had a problem until the new owner took over (Eric). Me and my fiancé went to look for an engagement ring and were promised a custom ring and wedding band in no more than 4 weeks. The engagement ring came in almost a month late, with no wedding band. It was about an additional 3 months before we got the wedding band. We called frequently to check on it but would almost always be promised a call back and would never hear from them, or we would be told it was coming in the next day and not hear anything for weeks. I was even hung up on once or twice when asking about the ring. We finally were told the band was in, and we went to pick it up and it was the WRONG BAND. They had had the correct band in the shop the entire time and had ordered the wrong ring in the first place. The only reason I am giving this even one star is because my ring is unique and beautiful. The absolute ridiculousness of the situation and the stress it put on me and my fiancé was awful. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more
