Took in an heirloom piece of my mom's to get repaired (it had had several repairs before in another state and was well-loved because it was worn every day) and they were realistic and honest about whether they could do the work. They said they'd look at it and if they couldn't repair it they wouldn't charge us. Not only were they able to repair it so well that you can barely see the break, they also spent time on the past repairs by a different jeweler that were messy and obvious. You can barely see any evidence of repair and it looks shiny and beautiful again. The price was very reasonable and my mom was beyond thrilled. My girlfriend wears her late grandma's ring and was heartbroken when the band bent and broke. I took it to Limb and I have to say it has been one of the best examples of customer service I've ever experienced! They gave me a price quote right away which was very reasonable. I took the ring in Monday and was told it would be ready by Saturday. The person helping me was very friendly, personable, and professional. I was sent a text message on Thursday saying the ring was already finished! They also offered to replace some missing stones in it. When I went to pick up the ring I was helped by a different person who was equally personable, kind, and helpful. The people at Limb under promise and over deliver. I have spent a lot of time, and money here in buying some things and having them overhaul a Tag, an original Seiko Men's Mickey Mouse watch and polish up a silver "Oregon Picture Agate" men's ring and a multi colored inlaid, Ben Nighthorse Campbell silver ring. They also repaired a vintage flapper era, or Art Deco style hanging cigarette clutch purse. This heirloom item had some damaged silver wire connectors which hold about 200 individual multi colored enameled links together. They essentially fully restored the purse to around it's date of production in 1920 or so. Beautiful, master craftsmen work. In addition to the above, they did a National search to locate a factory matching Stainless Steel band for parts to fix my unusable original band on Mr. Mickey. They spent roughly 3 months searching until they located this rarest of items. Can you beat that? Now comes the good news for you. As soon as I entered the store I felt like I was in a place of relaxed elegance and sincerely friendly service. Extra special kudos to "Becky" for her funny but gracious manner offered to me and all other customers in the store. And, for her technical knowledge of her business and this industry from A to Z. Other staff reflect the influence of Becky's leadership or management style. Simply stated: all the staff are genuine, friendly, understated, and thorough. I usually tack on some additional time to laugh with her or whoever is helping me out. In conclusion: definitely a 10/10 store for all of the above. Plus the store is convenient to Holladay with plenty of off street, shaded parking. It's on Fort Union but it is set back from that blast of racket. And their pricing is totally fair. You do get what you pay for at Limb Jewelry. Tip: with the set back off Ft. Union, you can whiz right past them if your not lookin for them. My son and his now fiancé were looking to have their wedding rings custom made, and I was helping them find a quality jeweler at a fair price. We had gold and diamonds for the rings but needed a jeweler to make the ring that my future daughter-in-law wanted. We went to several jewelers in the Salt Lake valley, and their quotes were several thousand dollars for just the labor. I read the Yelp reviews for Limb Jewelers, and they were super positive. When I went to the store, I was warmly greeted by Erica Limb. I told her what I was looking for, showed her a picture of the rings we wanted, and I showed her the gold and diamonds. She studied the gold and diamonds and gave us a quote that was incredibly fair. I immediately called by future daughter-in-law and she came to the store to be fitted for the ring. The finished rings were INCREDIBLE! They turned out even better than the picture that we had shown Erica. The work was done without compromise; however, I have to say that Erica really made the deal great. It was her knowledge and recommendations that improved the design we had chosen. Erica was sweet, and her integrity was obvious from the beginning. At some of the other stores I felt pressure to upgrade or seal the deal, but I felt none of that from Erica. Then, a few weeks later Limb Jewelers purchased my son and daughter-in-law a gift from their registry. They wished them well and thanked them for their business. This was my first experience with Limb and although they did try to make it right, it was not a good experience. I brought two rings in for repair. One was fine, but on the other, they did not put my stones back after repairing the setting! They were two completely different stones and when I asked about it, I was told the change in color was due to the cleaning! Totally untrue! They texted me a few days later saying they realized the one stone was wrong, but in fact at least two of the four stones were not mine. They replaced them, but I will never know if I got my stones back and this was a very old ring. Who knows what happened to my stones! Plus I paid over 600.00 for this, my stones could have been replaced with fake ones and they kept the real ones. I will never know. Just not a place I feel I could ever trust again. read more

The staff is incredibly friendly, I personally Had to deal with Erica while I was shopping for an engagement ring! She was great explaining me the 4c about the diamondd and also emailing me information of the ring I wanted. Thry were also really professional with the entire process. They made my search for an engagement ring as painless as posible. I also went to Chain Co, But this guys weren't informative at all, just told me the prices thats it. Worst Jeweler company ever. Their craftsmanship is absolute garbage. I had a custom ring made for my wife and she has lost multiple stones and the ring literally just sits on her hand during non physical activities. We had the ring fixed when we lost stones and they charged us $130 for two little stones that went around the outside. 2 days after it was on her finger the stones fell out again. After seeing my one and only true love oh my gosh I love you so much baby wife pleased with her ring, the compliments she received, and the quality of the craftsmanship I decided to get my own ring there.
