I really cannot say enough good things about my dentist... father and son practice on the North Shore for several decades flexible hours (including the weekends if you work as much as I do) updated facility easy and abundant parking remarkably friendly staff takes most insurance providers But the two items that stand out the most ... 1. Dr. Cook's council on best practices when you are not in the dental chair. He is always giving me great hygiene tips on areas I should focus on and direction on diet during, before and after my visits. 2. Being a parent of three, Dr. Cook was a natural with my young daughter on her first cleaning. A great experience! Today was my first appointment with Dr. Cook. His hygienist, Coulter, was a pleasure to talk to and he did an amazingly thorough job with my cleaning. Dr. Cook is great! I had veneers done here and have been smiling ever since! They were fantastic to work with.. i have seen some "fake" looking veneers in my time as a pro photographer and was weary of getting them done.. In fact when they first put them on I was horrified!! But.... he did his magic with his very noisy drill and now I have a smile I show off every day! I am now taking my two kids to them. Neither has cried yet which is a good thing!! Definitely recommend this dental practice. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and professional. Easy parking in Plaza del Lago. I took my three little ones for a cleaning and it went great. TVs and such to keep them (and me) entertained, and Dr. Cook has great bedside (dental chairside?) manner. A great experience overall. Kids actually asked me when we can go back again!? Like many people, I'm wary of going to any kind of doctor. I had not been to a dentist in a few years. It was a blessing that the one I chose was Dr.Cook. His staff is top notch and he puts you at ease the moment you walk in the door. His office is state of the art and I was amazed at what they were able to do. This past Sunday my daughter took a bad fall on her bike at a block party. I was unable to get a hold of my dentist and a friend told me to call Dr. Cook. He was at the block party in ten minutes, AGAIN ON A SUNDAY, and we went to his office and he had her stitched up and back at the party in an hour. I don't think you are going to find a better practice in the Chicago area. I have found both of the dentists and their staff to be very accommodating. We have been going to Dr's Cook for over 20 years. Both of the dentists are gentleman and very competent. They have nice new technology. We moved up north to Wisconsin a few years ago and still make the 3.5 hour trek every six months to see them! read more
