My son and I were getting ready to go camping in our toy hauler. When we were filling the water tank water started running out the bottom of the camper. We decided to scrub the trip and get the water tank removed to replace it with a new one or get it repaired. Wow what a job that has been as they dont make it easy. 117 gallon tank supported by two lightweight 1x2" rectangular tubing which bowed and has allowed the tank to move around to much and caused it to split open. I searched for plastic tank repairs and his company came up. I called and he said yup bring it down. Phil is super nice and said he could fix it. He asked when we wanted it as I figured it would take a few days or a week. I jokingly said well we were going camping today and he said I will have it ready tomorrow. Sure enough he calls early the next day and said it's fixed come and get it. The price was very fair and the workmanship was second to none. He gave us a nice tour of his shop which I really enjoyed. I recommend going here if you have the same problem. On a side note I built a new steel frame to support an almost 1000lbs tank for water and it will never sag or bow again. I recommend this company for any and all plastic fabrication, machining or plastic welding needs. They were a pleasure to work with: friendly, honest, fair-priced, efficient and proficient. I can't remember being more satisfied with a company. I learned of Philip's Plastics after looking online to find a company that could replace a cracked plastic-welded fitting on the water holding tank of a camper trailer (and I specifically looked at the reviews). After discovering Philip's Plastics, I called and was told to bring the tank down and they would take care of it. Within the hour I had dropped off the tank and was given an estimate for the repair that was much lower than I had anticipated. As promised, they called the next morning to let me know it was ready for pick up. The tank was filled with water when I went to pick it up, confirming the tank no longer leaked and the repair was successful. My experience with this company was as good as it gets and I will refer them to friends, family and strangers (i.e. anyone and everyone) in the market for their services. Great company!! NOTE: There are two other reviews on this site marked as "not recommended" because they read as 5-star reviews but no stars were selected by the reviewer. These two reviews, along with another reviewer who gave 1 star because he didn't think they were still in business, artificially lower the star rating. After searching for a long time for a golf cart tank replacement without success, a friend suggested I try to have the tank repaired. I cannot say enough about this place! The service and staff were so helpful and friendly and fixed my cracked tank while we waited. Daisy the shop greeter will be more than happy to keep you company for a price which is lots of love and pets and a dog treat if happen to have one in your pocket too. I drove over 100 miles to get to Philip's Plastics in Phoenix to repair a gray water tank beneath my camping trailer. A new tank would have required tear out of my shower and would easily have run $1500. Instead they repaired and reinforced it so it's better than new at a fraction of the cost of new. It was so worth the drive. I had an opportunity to watch their personnel and operations in their huge fabrication room. I was very impressed with their skill level at different tasks and they worked together just like a family - wait, better than most families. Philip, the owner, is a prince. You'll never meet a finer guy. He has run this company for over 30 years and he personally checks all the work of his team. I quickly got a sense that he's high integrity and his team, which has been with him for decades, shares this attribute. Hey, did I say he's a dog lover too? A large, rescued, mixed-breed lounged on a couch in his office and I got to pass some of my wait time scratching his belly (that's not required of customers ). Anyway, IMO you just can't go wrong with Philip's Plastics. They can fix or fabricate just about anything for you. Make the trip - you'll be glad you did. read more
