Needless to say Fadi and his team went above and beyond to ensure she got exactly what she wanted the first time. It's a night and day difference. I let her know I had just had my hair done at my regular Aveda, and wanted to buy the products used on my hair. I asked if any were open to confirm the scent. She said, no. I asked, is THIS product used in the salon? She said yes. I asked, again, could I smell the product. To which, she says no. I'm confused... so I ask, how are you all using this product in the salon if it's not open for me to smell? She says, "I'm not taking you back there to smell it." Caught completely off guard that she couldn't have found another way to string this horrible response together - I paused before saying, this may be very picky of me... but I don't like the way just said that to me. She says okay and have a good day. No, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way. Nothing! Call the salon once I leave and ask for manager. After relaying this encounter with him, he explains there are some products in salon that are not open, in which case I couldn't smell them... okay, that makes sense. But I relay to him, BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT SHE SAID to me. Bc even that response would've been more digestible and frankly politer than, "I'm not taking you back there"... He also just says okay and that's fine before I ended the call. No apology! No suggestion to come back in, let me talk to you about the product. I'm so sorry she delivered that poorly. Again, nothing! Just apathy. Meanwhile this location is my closest. I would rather drive back out to my routine location... 45 minutes away to avoid EVER encountering such apathetic people inside of a business location EVER AGAIN.

I had to walk up to his station while he was still seated, and he asked what I wanted without any professionalism or courtesy. I explained that I wanted a bouncy blowout. He immediately told me my hair would not be able to achieve that, which I strongly disagree with--as a hairstylist and salon owner myself, I know my hair is capable of it. I chose this service simply to treat myself after receiving a massage nearby. While the massage was wonderful, the hair service itself was not. He did not scrub the nape of my neck, did not properly shampoo my scalp, and only shampooed once. I had mentioned that I did not want conditioner on my scalp, which he forgot. He then asked if he could "just rinse it better," and I had to specifically request to be shampooed again. I should not have had to ask for a proper shampoo. There was no bounce to the blowout, and my hair was still oily and damp when I left. He even mentioned that this was his least favorite service and was complaining the whole time I was in his chair. As a professional, I would never allow a client to leave feeling dissatisfied or like their money was poorly spent--even for a small service like this The following day, I called the manager, Jessica. She offered 50% off if I came back, which I declined because I should not have to pay again for a service I can do myself. I only booked it that day because I was treating myself. When she asked how she could make it right, I stated that while a refund would be acceptable, what I really wanted was a complimentary blowdry. She responded by saying "times are hard" and that I should understand as a hairstylist. I live across the street and attempted to contact her three times. Each time, she asked for my name and then stated she was fully booked--clearly avoiding the situation. I eventually went in person today, and she then stated she would not make it right and claimed she had told me I could only come back that same week. I can confidently say this was never stated. In fact, I have a recording of our conversation, and there was no timeframe mentioned. If there had been, I would have come in immediately the next day. I actually came home immediately and washed my hair and styled it myself since it was still oily/gross and not styled properly. I understand as a regular client having them come back within the week but as someone who already rewashed my hair after the service and as someone who can do there own hair there is no need even that same week. If there is a policy regarding corrections or timeframes, it should be clearly communicated--especially to a first-time client. As a hairstylist, salon owner, and potential client, I will never return and I do hope you choose elsewhere for your services. This entire experience left a very bad impression. There are many salons in the area, but this situation was handled poorly from start to finish. Jessica, I strongly suggest better staff training in basic cosmetology standards and more professionalism in how client concerns are addressed.

I guess it's my fault for not speaking up but in general i think $130 is a little too much for what i received.
