Excellent spa for facials. I got the luxury facial and I really enjoyed the massage and facial. Poonam was great and gives you 2 options, if you want to exfoliate or focus on the massage. Cloud 9 Spa is awesome! I have been seeing Poonam for over 11 years (prior to her opening her own business) for waxing, facials and massages. Service is always excellent, peaceful and won't rob you of all you have. The only trade-offs might be that it is not glamorous but I will trade glamour for great service and reasonable prices any day. Also the area is small so it probably isn't great for large groups (i.e. a wedding party or birthday celebration) as there aren't a lot of places to sit for more than 2 people outside of the 2 treatment rooms. All that being said Cloud 9 Spa is my go to place every time! Love them! read more

I have my eyebrows waxed and tinted here every few weeks. The owner is such a lovely lady. While the tint is on, you're left to relax, while listening to calming music. I found my go-to place! I just moved from California and I was looking to continue my skin care routine here in the Burke area. I was nervous that this may be one of those spas that only cared about revenue and not the actual customer. Not ONCE did Ms. Poonan try to sell me anything!! I opted to go with a 75 minute customized facial so we could discuss my habits, diet, skin care regime etc... she is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what my skin needed and the results I ultimately want to achieve. She was able to tell me every single ingredient in the product she was applying to my face and how it will be beneficial. I loved that I automatically felt super comfortable with her and that she REALLY, seriously seemed interested in my skin/s progress. The facial was fabulous! Extractions were used with two q-tips, not those painful, needle-tip torture tools. I bearly felt the extractions. I opted for a chemical peel to help with hyper pigmentation and to be really honest, my skin looks and feels so much smoother- I can already see the progress and I just had this facial done this morning. To top it off, I asked for a facial and I still got an arm, neck, head and upper back massage. Price is VERY reasonable- obviously the prices range but for 75 minutes, facial, chemical peel, free product samples AND the massage....$85. I will definitely be returning and continue my skincare regime with Cloud 9! read more

This is my first time at Cloud 9 Spa, and I had an Excellent experience!!! I have been having threading done for 15 years now, lately my skin has become very sensitive. This is the first place that threading was not as painful as i have experienced anywhere else. Mainly because, Poonam takes the time to read the direction of hair and do it gently. She made my service so realxed, not at all rushed like other places. Infact she takes so much time studying my hair, i told her it feels as if she feels my pain if done roughly and takes every step to prevent it. Usually I don't trust a new person doing my threading. I'm on the fence with this place. Ms. Poonam is good but I did not see a big difference in my skin after I left this place. I initially scheduled a chemical peel facial but she advised against it after looking at my skin. Instead of doing the Vitamin C as an alternative, she did a deep hydration facial. Not sure why she chose this as my skin is really not that dry. She said we can try the chemical peel next time I come so I will provide an update when the time comes. read more
