I know it may sound corny, but Phil is JUST THAT GUY. My family has relied on Phil for 4+ property purchases over the last few years and when it came time for me to buy a home (in this crazy housing market with low inventory and high prices), he was able to cater to my every whim. If I wanted to seek homes a couple hours away, he'd offer to go tag along and house hunt. If I needed to scope out homes an hour away someplace new to me, he would also assist and explain what the good areas are to go visit and which homes were in bad areas. He also made sure to answer all questions, educated me so I had a better idea of what to look for and expect through the different stages in the home-buying pipeline. I'm a single mom of a disabled adult, was just trying to get out of a one bedroom..if you're a single parent beware. Worked two jobs saved my money.. and then I made the worst decision ever hiring this guy. Horrible experience from open house to closing. Wasn't present when agents were bring their clients through. Phillip or one of the agents left my garage unlocked not once but twice and it was robbed! Neither offered or when asked would lower their commission after this huge mistake. He actually told me I should tell my lender to lower her rate.. and she's the one that recommended him. While looking at homes to buy he was mostly on his phone. One place I was trying to figure out where I could put a washer and dryer. His response was for 1000$ you could just tear this wall down and there ya go washer and dryer. Any real estate agent would know that's not true unless they're a novice. The homes he sent me were in horrible areas.. the places I looked at me and my neighbor found most of them. I even had to contact HOAs to ask questions.. he said he couldn't get a hold of anyone. I had someone in minutes. The inspector was his..and 9 months later it's like WOW that guy missed huge items. But my fault for trusting him to bring in his people. Same with the escrow company.. my CPA said they really gouged me. Also through the process my buyers needs were more priority than anything.. he even called me after closing and moving into my new place and said hey the buyer is complaining about the smoke detectors. Overall wish I had never met the guy.. garage was robbed after they left it unlocked and there was no responsibility taken. Zero attention to detail when looking at places. I would ask for docs and he would forget or just blow it off. The lender I normally use I can never use again since she recommended him. He really made her look bad unfortunately. Also I wanted my home warranty through Fidelity and he was so married to First American that's what was written up in the closing docs. FIRST AMERICAN HOME WARRANTY IS A NIGHTMARE. He's there to get his commission .. plain and simple. If you can do sale by owner or use a Redfin or Zillow agent I would go that route. He was sending his newsletters to me and even just seeing those sickened me. Wish I would've fired him. Keller Williams should be ashamed. read more

I just want to tell you a little about our real estate agent Jonathan Ramirez. Jonathan definitely went above and beyond his job. I walked into Keller Williams blind without ever researching the home buying process. It was past 5 pm and they were closing I wanted some information about buying a home quickly. I am all about instant gratification. I was greeted by his big smile and warm personality he gave me a short explanation of the home buying process that day, even got a lender involved to see what we were approved for. It all happened so fast. Three days later we were approved through the help of Eddie Correa our wonderful lender. Now it was happy house hunting, or so we thought. This is one of the most important financial decisions of our life, and it was nerve wrecking, and at times daunting. However, no matter how demanding, how many questions we had, how many houses we turned down, how many cover letters were written, the no barred window requests, wide streets only, good neighborhood, no matter how many bumps in the road he came through and this was not an easy task for us or him. But WE DID IT! Jonathan was super patient, answered all midnight texts, answered every call, text, and email in a very timely manner, with accuracy and knowledge, and if he didn't have the answer he would find it. This is what really makes the whole home buying process smooth.
