Solid neighborhood pizza spot. Fresh toppings, nice owners fast service. Kind of junkie inside, but it's meant for takeout.

Tried ordering from here again on 1/7 through their website. Totally different experience than the first time. I placed the order at 5:15pm, it was estimated for delivery at 5:45pm. It didn't show up until around 6:20pm, over an hour later. The fries were completely overcooked and cold, wings were overcooked as well. I also requested salt, pepper and ketchup on the chicken and fries, they arrived without anything on them. Also, I'm convinced they don't read the delivery notes because once again, I requested to "ring door bell and leave on the table on the porch" and the guy rang the doorbell and waited for me to open the door and take the order from him. He was also uncomfortably close when I opened the door. I could have been sick (I wasn't, but just saying). This is the best pizza in northern Baltimore. They gave me an extra-large for the price it's supposed to be (about $20.00). The pizza was well-cooked and the ingredients played well against each other. I ordered the Phillips Unique. The crust was delicious, both in terms of taste and the rigid crunchy texture, and I appreciated the cheese on top of the ingredients. Gives it that warm chicken-pot-pie dynamic. As for considerations other than food and price, I think it's take-out or delivery only, but what an experience you'll have if you carry it out. It's in a sensibly-designed strip mall where the parking is right in front of the stores and there are multiple exits and entrances from the surrounding streets. Not like that incompetent nonsense you usually find around Baltimore where they stuff all the stores in a hedged-off mini-city and only have one way for cars to come in and out and parking 10 minutes away from the stores. Let me tell you, I user to go to a dance school that used to be located in the same shopping center almost 20 years ago. I always ordered a shrimp cheesesteak with provolone onion and mayo--sometimes s few times per week. I visited from CA for 2 days back in October and made sure to order my usual since I discovered Phillips still existed during my trip. I'm not exaggerating when I say I cried actual tears with each bite. It was as delicious if not more than I remembered. I mean they didn't slack on a thing and I had a physically nostalgic moment that can only be described as heavenly. Please order it and from here if you get a chance. You will not be disappointed. Horrible I ordered pizza, waited 25 mins, went to go pick it up and it wasn't even started and had the whole staff there waiting and playing games worried about personal IRA and all. How does this place have no reviews?!? Terrific pizza - I wavered between giving it a 4 and 5, because really, when isn't there room for improvement? But I'm going to give Phillips a 5 because I've never gotten a bad pizza from them. I really appreciate how many non-pork meat topping options they have (Beef salami, beef "pepperoni", ground beef, etc.). I always do carryout, so I can't speak to the delivery. They have good carry-out specials, all of which come with two cans of soda thrown in for good measure. A large 1 topping pizza is just $8.50. The owner is really nice and friendly, as are all the staff I have encountered. Even though I only stop in when I'm in the area visiting my parents, they always remember me. This is pretty much a carry-out only place - besides a couple of chairs, there isn't much room for anyone to sit down for a meal. read more

Called in for delivery today and ordered the 15 wings and fries. I live 3.9 miles away, and the delivery took 1 hr 9 mins. The wings used were small party wings, they were deep fried and shaken in a honey bbq sauce. Served with a side of fries and choice of dressing. The wings themselves aside from the size were amazing.. Well sauced while maintaining a crispy outside/moist inside. The fries were overly soft from steam in the wing container and unsalted. None the less I'd likely eat here again although not a first choice read more

If I could give this place negative stars I most definitely would, the owner is the most unprofessional person I've ever talked to. This business is 5 min away from my home and they took almost an hour and a half to deliver my food, it was very cold by the time it got here and they forgot our drinks. When I called and spoke to the owner he said he'd give us new fries, our drinks and wings than went back on what he said refusing to give us a refund or replacements. He proceeded to use rain as the excuse for the slowness but I called them while our driver was leaving the front of our home and he was already back in the restaurant while I was on the phone with the owner. I'm 7 months pregnant have been driving all day in the rain. The rain is honestly not an excuse. There is no reason I should be paying 30 dollars for crap service and cold food without my drinks.
