Walked in to some old man on his phone(never looked up) and two ladies sitting eating lunch. After a few second one of the ladies got up and served me. Ordered pretzel dogs over the phone and picked them up 15 minutes later (that is how long they told me it would be), Two hot dogs looked freshly made, two looked older and starting to change color (looked faded). The pretzels were very tough. I'm not sure that any were made fresh with as difficult as they were to chew. read more

I was excited to see they had one of these locations in town. The pretzels were fresh, the staff was quick. They had a lot of different pretzel types for what you may be looking for. I was in and out of here quickly. The only thing I was not crazy about (which is not the locations fault) is that they sell the dips on the side for $1 each. No complaints. I love the Philly Pretzel Factory, and was disappointed when the one near me went kaput. This one is kinda far (30min), but it's convenient when I'm in the area already. I've only ever encountered awesome employees here, and never had a bad experience with the pretzels...always warm and soft. The real deal is the prices. You get way more for your money than at A* A*'s, their closest competitor. read more

This is so late! Went here July 2019, shortly after the store opened. We're early birds. There was a woman placing the mats on the ground and moving the patio furniture. We stood outside a few seconds and waited. She never spoke to us. We walked behind her into the store. She walked behind the counter and grabbed a paper bag and tongs. What's missing? I asked her very politely to please wash her hands. It's like the world stopped. She dropped my bag on the floor. Unintentionally or intentionally...I don't know. I told her that I no longer wanted the pretzels. Dirty hand and now dirty bag. Touching filthy outside rugs and not washing your hands. Just unsanitary! The guy with the broken glasses has always had this negative demeanor. I'm far from naive and know why. He actually yelled and said "don't come back!" Let's process this together. Bias and ignorance. I frequent this shopping center, but I've been back only once, which I regret. The same guy was half masking preparing pretzels. PFF corporate was very cordial and offered a coupon, which I declined. Free pretzels is no compensation for being treated this way. I go out of my for pretzels and pride myself on being polite to everyone. Hand washing and cleanliness is the cornerstone of any restaurant...even pre-pandemic (2019). PPF lost a very loyal customer! Something as simple and necessary as washing one's hands shouldn't lead to such a negative exchange. *I ask that you spend your money at establishments that appreciate you and don't show bias. I made my first trip to this place tonight and let me tell you... I will 100% be back. My family and I showed up 10 mins before closing. It was too late for us to place a new order but the worker was the sweetest person. (I wish I had asked for her name) She politely apologized for the inconvenience, and then gave us a few complimentary pretzels that she had already made. we got the cinnamon dip and buttercream dip. Both are AMAZING. I found my new favorite spot to cure my sweet & salty cravings!!!! read more

We were very please with everything we picked up for super bowl Sunday. Myself like others arrived early and I noticed many arrived late. Which I think caused the back up to begin. In order for them to deliver a right out of the oven product you kinda have to habe the perfect storm. I don't anyone can say this backup was due to a lack of trying their very hardest to please everyone. I think everyone learned from this and will steadily get better at handling this size if crowd in the future. My order was for 5:45 and I was out by 6:00 so my waiting prior to 5:45 was of my own doing for arriving way to early. It was good to see and while family and staff working together at a hectic pace to get everyone's order out the door and miss the super bowl and family time at home to provide this service. Stopped here in the Bel Air store. The regular pretzel was hard on the outside, I was expecting something soft and chewy like Aunt Annie's and the hot dog pretzel with cheese had a funky smell. Neither was what I was expecting - over $7 for the hot dog pretzel, 1 regular pretzel and a drink. read more

So excited to finally have a Philly Pretzel Factory in Bel Air! Visited today for the first time and ordered 3 pretzels. The cashier told me he would throw in an extra one since they were giving out free pretzels but then he must have forgotten because I only got 3 in my bag. Pretzels were very fresh and right out of the oven but SUPER salty, and I'm someone who loves salt. I found myself wiping off as much salt as I could to make them palatable. After that adjustment, they were much better. Not an amazing first visit but still glad to have this place in the neighborhood. read more

They have good stuff, but I often find myself interested in going in during the early mornings which I have sadly found to be the worst time to go. If they open at 7am, which seems a little early for that type of place, why can't I get anything until like 7:30 or later? Why not just open at 7:30? read more

A coworker/friend of mine brought these in one day and shared some with me. She always gets the box of nugget like pretzels (can't remember what they're called) and also two cheese sides for dipping and a coke, all for about 6 bucks. That's an amazing deal. I went there myself and picked some up. The two gentlemen working were very kind. I always have to knock off salt cause they're a bit too salty for me but that's just my preference. When I moved from Philly to Bel Air I left behind my Pretzel Factory. I don't eat the soft, sweet pretzels at the mall nor do I touch the old pretzels from WaWa. FINALLY I got my pretzel life back when the Pretzel Factory opened in Bel Air, MD. Not only are the pretzels hot, crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside, they are also inexpensive for my family to dig in for a movie night. I called up the Philly Pretzel Factory on Monday to place a order for a few trays for Sunday. I went into the store to pay for the items ($75.00) a few days before. Well long and behold when I went Sunday to pick up the items at 5 pm, the store was packed. They told us it would be a 2 hour wait for our order. I will NEVER go back to that place. We opt to get back our money. At 5 pm, they were just doing 3 pm orders. Very unorganized. They should of been there at 3 am to get all of there orders done. NEVER AGAIN! read more

I neglected to mention a week prior i did order a tray for a set time. Also requested a philly cheese steak and 2 hot sausages. The guy said they usually have those ready so he was surprised i was requesting them. When i came in to pick up my tray they had that ready but not the 2 sausages he ended up giving me 1 sausage and 1 hot dog because that was all they had but charged me the 2 sausage price. read more

Pretzels were mediocre; not as soft and chewy or salty as I expected. I will try again as it is a new store and they may be getting up to speed. But what I found the most disconcerting was the loud rap music that greeted you as you came through the door. I was there on Thursday 7/13 at noon along with a bunch of moms and their children. Couldn't understand all the lyrics to the thumping music but sex, money and the f*** word came through loud and clear several times. I didn't appreciate and I doubt the other patrons did either. A little training could go a long way with the young staff. Selection of music and not calling every patron "you GUYS" would be appreciated. read more

I've been a Philadelphia pretzel factory fan for many years . I'm originally from Philadelphia. I've driven to Philadelphia for years for these pretzels then to Elkton now Belair. These pretzels have way way to much salt . Save some money cut down the salt by half . And turn down the loud music. JMO read more
