We have only been here once a long time ago. It was good for typical bar food. We plan to go back again.

I used to go there all the time when it was a pool hall. Loved the food best wings ever. I now have cancer and wanted to eat wings for Father's Day. Big let down wings were dry, and the sauce tasted poured on. What happened the owner took pride in his menu. Stuff potato was really old looking with break your teeth bacon. I'm not one to complain but I looked forward to this meal. Don't know if I'll have a chance to try it again. Hope you pull it together word of mouth is tops and I sent everyone there. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, it was not very busy. They had lots of seating and tons of tvs to watch the game on. I ordered some lemon crushes and they were good. Not too overpowering. We shared some hot pretzel sticks which were good, and had great breading. They weren't stale or hard. It was served with mustard and spicy cheese, which were both good. For my main I had the Sriracha hot honey chicken sandwich. It has pickles on it which really went well with the chicken. The fries were crispy on the outside and a little soft on the inside. I personally love them this way. My boyfriend ordered the chicken tenders smothered in garlic parm sauce. He really enjoyed it. Wasn't too spicy with the pepper flakes in it. Nice place to perch on a weekend day or really any time. Has a neighborhood bar vibe with lots of friendly people and workers. We were greeted right away and all the staff were very attentive. The menu offers a little of everything. The wings were awesome! They know how to make them extra crispy. They were very accommodating with the wing order. Fried pickles were great as well - not too much breading at all. They do have tons of TVs around the restaurant and they have Keno. The bar area is large and they have a great outdoor seating area as well. There is ample parking in front, as well as the side of the building. Lots of Happy Hour specials and daily deals. read more

Friendly atmosphere, prompt service, delicious food and plenty of bar choices. Stopped to see a former student but stayed for lunch. We liked that we could get fresh steamed shrimp and truffle fries. The tuna tacos were also really good. We miss our MD faves. Enjoyed lunch so much we met another friend there for dinner. The nachos were very good and an interesting combo. Great service from the lady bartender. I think today we were the first in for lunch and had the Honey Old Bay wings, salad and Guinness. Wings were as advertised from fell Yelpers "outstanding". Its debatable if they are the best in town but definitely the largest I've had. Wife had a cheese steak and it was pretty good. This bar/pub has limited parking but a large menu and beer selection. Pains me to say this. Food has always been good and service was always great. But recently (last 6 months or so) the menu has changed and food distributors have changed, the burger id once be willing to drive hours for has now become Burger King level. Prices and selection are reasonable, Service has stayed amazing, they could give more attention to the patio seating though. read more

I'm not sure how to even feel about this place just yet. I came in on a early Sunday afternoon. Just for a quick bite to eat and a drink. Basketball was on all of their tvs which was perfect because I live sports. I was able to find a seat at the bar. I sat for about 10min with out someone coming over to offer a menu Finally I guess one of the bartenders felt my awkward stares and started to ask if I need anything. I didnt order anything crazy just hot wings with tequilla and cranberry juice. Everything came out in decent time and the wings tasted really good. The only thing stopping my return was the lack of diversity in patrons. Meat was bland and unseasoned. I'm not a picky eater to any circumstance, I'll eat pretty much anything. But this I couldn't even eat. SERVICES GETS A 5 Star review! This is the second time in 2 weeks, I ordered chicken wings and got wings the size of quail legs!!!! They were ridiculously small, and no fault to the chef over cooked!! They were so small, and lacking any meat on the legs even a FLASH Fry would over cook them!!! We make a point of atleast a weekly visit. I highly recommend skipping the wings, get the shrimp or go elsewhere if you want wings read more

The food was just ok. Old bay wings tasted fine but could tell it wasn't great chicken. The regular fries sucked. Don't waste your money. The turkey club way ok but it had state cheese on it. Came to Route 24 Ale House with my family after a work event for some celebratory food. There were a lot of people hanging around playing pool and it wasn't terribly crowded. We were seated quickly and ordered some drinks. They have a very expansive menu with typical bar fare. I opted for a cheesesteak as they coined it their "famous" cheesesteak. The bread wasn't really toasted so when I got the cheesesteak the bread was soggy at the bottom. I also ordered mushrooms on it and the waitress came to tell me they were out of mushrooms. Everyone seemed pretty content with their food. I would say everything was just ok. I would come back if friends wanted to go there but I probably wouldn't suggest it myself. read more

When I arrived there were three employees at the front talking to each other and no one greeted me. The place is very small and crowded. I got sweet tea to drink and it was flavorless. As an appetizer my family and I got the loaded nachos. They were very average. The chicken on the nachos was dry as hell. It took over 30 minutes for the nachos to arrive. After about 40 more minutes i finally got my food. I ordered the chicken cheese steak with a side of fries. THERE WAS A HAIR IN MY FOOD. My hair is green and the hair in my food was black. It was definitely not mine. I ate part of the food before i realized the hair in it. The chicken cheesesteak was very plain and had no flavor. Unlike the nachos, the chicken wasn't dry this time. All of the things i ordered had no flavor. My mother got the potato salad and it was literally just potatoes with mayonnaise and no seasoning. The only thing that tasted good were the fries. The waitress was nice, but the service was TERRIBLE. She barely checked in on us. From where i was sitting, i could visibly see other customers having a bad time. One man waited so long for a beer, he had to get up from his table and put the glass on the bar to get his servers attention. The food is overpriced for the quality. Greatly disappointed. We were driving back from DC to Philadelphia on a Sunday afternoon with the kids, and needed a place to break up the drive and grab a bite somewhere off the highway. Found it on Yelp and decided to give it a shot, and glad we did. Everything was good - food, service, ambiance, price. It was crowded and the physical space isn't a large one - between the final round of the Master's and several mens baseball/softball leagues postgaming, it was loud and boisterous and occasionally a little "adult" in regards to the volume/language of the patrons with families around. We were seated quickly, and our waitress did a nice job despite being pretty slammed. Menu was good, kids menu had solid options and beer list was above average. I enjoyed my "24" chicken sandwich with onion straws and petal sauce, and my lovely GF liked her tenders and fries. Would absolutely stop again if on the road that way again. Do not order the pulled pork. It was tough, flavorless, and piping hot (temperature, not spice)- I would be shocked if they didn't just cook it in the microwave. I figured with pulled pork all over the menu, and this being a $15 sandwich, that it would be their specialty, but in reality they don't know what they're doing. They should just remove things from the menu that they don't know how to prepare correctly. I wanted to support a local place during covid season, but this is something I wish I would have known before ordering. Not only were they not crispy but they were rubbery and UNDER COOKED. Yes, the chicken inside the wing was raw and letting out pink chicken juice when i peeled back the raw meat. We also ordered fried pickles, not something that i'd recommend either as the batter was so thick and tasted like flour. I never came here so it was nice to see a bar I always drive by but never visited. It was fairly crowded even on a Sunday afternoon. The music choices were interesting ranging from hip hop to mainly EDM to some random rock and pop songs. Anyways on the to food itself; I got the crab dip and honey bbq chicken melt. I loved the crab dip because they gave bread and chips to choose from. The melt was honestly ok. I felt as though the Bbq overwhelmed the fried chicken a little bit and the cheese wasn't all melted. The food came out a little slower than I had expected considering that there weren't many people there, but it wasn't terrible. I asked for the burger to be cooked medium and it was more like well done, so a little more dry than I like. But it wasn't bad. The fried egg was a tad over cooked, but in their defense I didn't specify how I wanted it cooked. I prefer a runny yolk. The broccoli was actually good. Usually I find that restaurants either over or under cook veggies, but the broccoli was cooked perfectly. Overall it was a decent experience and I'd probably try it again. read more

But here we are on a Friday night and they only have 2 waitresses / barkeeps. Beer in 5 min... 20 min later she comes back to take our food order.
