Ordered 2 sandwiches. One with Ketchup and Mayo. The other with only mayo. Both were drenched in ketchup. Kinda ruined it for me. Girl who took order did it correctly, repeated it correctly and was nice. Meat on both sandwiches was not cut up well at all. It was in huge chucks which made it difficult to chew. I think the cook needs to pay better attention to the order ticket and the prepping of the meat. Let me start by saying that the name has changed to "The Philly Pit Stop" as of 5 days ago. Small location but still could bring in family, friends, even a a date. Two staff members were on hand but staff but service was fast. Told the cheese steaks cone with American cheese. Ewww! Philly cheese steaks...real cheese steaks are made with Cheez Whiz, which they gladly put on our sandwiches, along with grilled onions and mushrooms. And they were good! And so large that we split, each taking half and took the second home for later. Philly Pit Stop advertises the best cheese steaks but they also sell pizzas, chicken wings, onion rings and fries. So this morning I went to get a Cheesesteak. When I placed the order they rang up 5 orders of fries and she didn't catch until I said something.. They removed the last 4. The order came out then the cook brought the extra of olives out I requested. My order was supposed to have onions, peppers and mushrooms. It barely had mushrooms with cold olives. Wow really terrible. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place was horrific. I order two gyros tonight, extra meat, one with no lettuce. Got both sandwiches and it's like these guys didn't even try. Both came with lettuce which is fine, which honestly didn't really bother me, but there was barely any meat on them. I paid extra for essentially nothing, but again, I wouldn't have cared if the meat was good. No surprise though, it was terrible. It tasted like it was boiled, they didn't cook it nearly enough on the flat top. Really disappointing and honestly gross. I ended up just splitting one sandwich in half and throwing the other one out. French fries were fine, slightly over salted. Fried mushrooms could've been salted after coming out of the fryer. The first time I ate there, the cheesesteak was really good. I took my daughter tonight for the first time, very dissatisfied. The PITA bread on the Gyro was cold, not toasted. Tasted like they pulled it out of the plastic wrap and put on the toppings. We ordered Cajun fries, they had too much seasoning. I don't know whats going on with both the Phillys Best near Forest Oaks and the Phillys best on Spring Hill Dr. I used to rave about both restaurants but they're just not the same anymore. I think that they've changed the roll that they used. It's not soft and chewy as it once was. I got a small cheesesteak with onions and there was no flavor to it at all, and not much meat, probably because the new rolls are bigger. By the time I got home (about an 8 minute drive) the fries were already cold. I don't know if ownership has changed hands or what, but I'll give it another try. My food was not fully cooked (nothing better than biteing in to a half cooked french fry that was cold)I ordered 10 min prior to pick up btw. Worst customer service I've ever seen. Went in placed order and waited 20mins for food. While there 2 people called about order being incorrect and girl answering phone gave them attitude. After 20mins received food and off we went. Got home and all 3 subs are wrong. I called to cheesesteak place and as soon as I told her food was wrong I received same attitude other people received while I was there. I explained how subs were wrong and requested a credit for all 3. She said with every bit of attitude other customers received NO! Then her manger gets on the phone when I ask him for his name he says his name is G, REALLY! So we went from attitude employee to ghetto manager. He explains I can wait 45mins for subs to be delivered or come back up and get new subs. I kindly denied both options and requested a credit again. His reply was starting to complain how short handed he is, how he's been having to do deliveries, blah, blah, blah.
