So that alone would get them rated very high. Add on all the other great things that they have to offer in the shop is another great bonus! Then you get to the customer service and it pushes the quality of the shop way above greatness! You'll always get a friendly face to greet you, rain or shine. They are knowledgeable of their products and go above and beyond to help you find what you need. And the prices out do any other shop I've been into. My husband and I moved to Roswell Nm about a year ago and this shop was one of the first places that we visited and we've stuck with them from the get go. And we will stick with them from here on out. It's worth it to go in and say hi to the owner and get to know the wonderful staff for all your smoke shop needs!

Been here a few times in the last couple years. This time...the regularly rude lady who works there…read morewas true to form. I pull up thru the drive thru (because she cops a huge attitude when you ask to go in to see the cigars) and ask if she has a small box of cigars. She has no idea what I'm talking about. Oh, doesn't she sell cigars? Yes, but she has no clue what I'm taking about. A tiny box of cigars? (I'm using my hands to describe them) She rolls her eyes, a tin? Oh yes a tin. Well what kind? Does she have Don Tomas? No. (she just stares st me) What kind does she have? More eye rolling. We have acids... and here she stomps off and leaves for a few minutes and I think about driving away but have already endured so much crap from her that i may a well stick it out. She comes back loaded with about 10 cigar tins and dumps them on the counter (out of sight). We have these. Oh, are those Arturo fuentes? No. Okay, I'll take the white box. She takes the boxes out of sight, rings me up and surprises me by smiling and thanking me (this seems fishy but i drive away). Later that night i open my tin of Don Diegos and realize this box hasn't been in a humidor for months. They're so dry and crackly that they tear apart when you clip them. Never going back....ever....ever ever...ever...she's great incentive to quit smoking.

By God's providence we have been down to Ruidoso multiple times the last few years and have made it a point to stop in to the shop every trip. I now have two excellent custom pipes made by the owner and only smoke his custom pipe tobacco blends. His Master Dillon blend is an exceptional aromatic. The owner is a friendly, knowledgeable gentleman and will do all he can to assist you. There are few businesses I could recommend higher.

The owner told me he has been in business for about 7 months. The humidor is fairly small, but has a respectable selection of good cigars. The members who were present while I was there were an interesting and eccentric bunch who were very welcoming. One guy who seems to be a local artist even gave me a cigar from his personal stash. If your're looking for a cigar friendly place in Alamogordo, I recommend this place.
