Micah and Owen arrived today to perform our first well inspection. Not only were they were polite and courteous, they were extremely knowledgeable and reacquainted my husband with the system. We had a leak on our well freeze spigot that was causing loss of pressure on our well. Austin and Micah replaced a seal at the bottom of the spigot. We had, what I thought was a leak at our well. I contacted DPWD and asked if they could come out and take a look. He did explain that it was most likely a irrigation issue. Not the well. He did put me on their schedule. Austin came out to survey the issue and said we would have to dig it up to be sure. The issue was corrected new parts installed and we are now back up and running. Big shout out to Austin and Matt. They did an excellent job, explained what was happening, answered all my questions and were in and out very quickly. I have used DPWD twice now and both times were very good experiences. We had our pump stop working on both occasions and they sent out technicians first thing in the morning. The young men they have working for them and professional, friendly and respectful. They also DO NOT price gouge you because you are having an emergency. Today, mid-morning I got to my chores. Got animals watered and fed. Then turned around for another chore, and FOUND I had no water, nothing. Switched the power off, checked everything I could. NOTHING worked. I began calling anyone who said they were open, who would answer their phone. I was visibly upset. I could care less about me. It was the critters. Tears ran down my face as I was scared and terrified. No more bad things...please. Dennis Phipps answered. We talked. I sent him pictures of the switch, and explained myself, my disability etc. He didn't waste one moment, he got here as fast as he could. I was in tears, as I was so glad to see him. He took a look at things. I shut power down, and he replaced the power switch at the pressure tank. That was the only thing. I was terrified that the well pump had burnt up, that a line had burst...I was just shaking. Could have been far worse... He answered his phone on a Saturday, made the trip all the way from Caldwell, to make sure I had water. I could not have asked for a better person or company. Our well pump went out on a Friday night. I left messages for several well repair companies. DPWD was the only one that returned my call. Mark came out Saturday morning and repaired our well pump. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. He explained everything to my husband and I as this is our first experience with a well. Mark also told us there was an issue with the control box. He brought out the manufacturer representative to fix the issue at no charge to us. Mark and Austin came out yesterday to address a vibration noise. Mark also replaced a sensor. After each visit, we received a phone call from Mark to make sure everything was working. My husband and I highly recommend DPWD for any pump or well concerns. They will get the job done. read more

My wife woke up during the night to get a drink and found we had no water pressure. Woke me at 0800 and told me the situation. I went and reset the breaker to no avail. Walked the water line between house and well and saw no issues. Sooooo -of course this was a Saturday- got the info on the company that had installed the pump, Adamson. Gave them a call a little before 0900 and was told they would have a tech call me back. After an hour with no call back, decided to look around. Ended up calling this fine company. They said that they had a tech fairly close working on another job, but that he would call when he finished. A couple hours later I got a call from Mark who said he was 5 minutes out. After checking things out it turned out it was simple fix. The system is 21 years old and Mark gave us a number of options if the problem came up again. If and when we do update, DPWD will be who we call. You can depend on that. And speaking of depending, Adamson did get back like they said. A tech called us- Monday!!
