As a Bay Area resident, much less as someone living in East Side San Jose, I'd like to believe that I know what a good bowl of pho looks and tastes like. Pho Kitchen is such an example. I wouldn't call Rogers, Arkansas the middle of nowhere, but you'd definitely be hard-pressed to find Asians here, so I'm happy to verify this place as Asian legit. The service and ambiance here is better than I've come to expect compared to what I'm used to out of Vietnamese establishments, so that's worth nothing before I dive into the food. I ordered fresh spring rolls, a bowl of beef rib pho, and Passionfruit drink. The spring rolls were pretty standard, which is probably compliment. The pho was also pretty standard from what I have had in the bay, but the beef bone was extra meaty and fell off the bone quite easily. I would've liked more of the other parts of the cow that they typically put in pho, but as far as the taste, this was it. It was good. The Passionfruit drink was refreshing and washed down the pho quite nicely. Now here's the bone I have to pick. Again, I live in the Bay Area. It's not cheap where I live. When I go anywhere, especially the Midwest, I generally expect lower prices. The bowl of pho was $20. A high end bowl of pho in the bah doesn't cost more than $18, so that's why this place isn't getting five stars. If it's because this is only one of two pho places in this region, it makes more sense -- but that isn't enough to justify it for me. read more

our first visit here! hubby's been craving a good chicken pho, and he was very pleased with his meal (not pictured). we got the honey garlic chicken wings which were every crispy and had great flavor to it. we also ordered the rocket shrimp and egg rolls. i had the street bahn mi with lemongrass pork and it was delicious! the pork was full of flavor and so tender. my meal paired well with the lychee cranberry gin cocktail! not too strong, but the lychee flavor was very prominent and sweet, which i enjoyed (: our server was very kind and they were a bit busy. saturday around 6pm. but service was speedy and the food came out quick too! great place for a little date night or midday lunch hang. read more

Vegan Option Review | This is the best vegan Pho I have had. The vegan broth is deep in flavor, with the traditional sweetness, star anise and delicious fried garlic bits. The veggies are perfectly tender, so there is still some crispness when you bite into them. The tofu is delicious, but the standout is the vegan "meat" that has a nice nutty dense texture and is the perfect compliment to the dish. The normal fixings are always plentiful and very fresh. I've also had their spring rolls, which are flavorful. Most of the time the rice paper is a good texture, but every now and then it has been a bit chewy. Finally, the fried rice dish is also a great choice. Again, my plate was vegan, but really flavorful and a decent portion. We come here often and will continue to do so as long as they have their vegan options! It can feel pretty hectic inside during their peak time, so don't expect a quiet dining room. Service can be really good, but I have also had times where my drink is never refilled even after asking more than once. Also, check the gratuity settings, they are above average so you may need to do some math. read more

This is my first time here and I did told the person behind the bar. He was definitely not welcoming and just told me "here's the menu, let me know when you're ready" and left. I was about to leave then came Patrick who literally saved the day. He was extremely nice and very helpful. He is the reason I'm giving this place 2 stars. PK - Signature Pho The broth was rich in flavor, brisket and short rib were tender! My only complaint was the rice noodles, as they fell apart every time I tried to pick them up with my chopsticks. With that, I could tell the chefs premade the noodles and sat out too long. I asked the server for some Hanh Dam (sliced onions with vinegar), and he said they don't use vinegar, he squeezes fresh limes over the onions instead topped with sriracha and hoisin. I said alright, I'll give it a shot. And I actually like it with limes! I over heard another customer saying the chicken wings were really good. So I might try that next time. My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch and everything from the food, to the service and the atmosphere was amazing. I had the tenderloin & brisket pho, and I loved the flavors. My husband had beef stir fry noodles and he commented on how flavorful the sauce was, but the noodles weren't drowning in it which was perfect.
