That's what she said to a first time mom and first time customer. I was disgusted. That moment told me everything. She acts like she's doing people a favor by taking their money. The desserts are mediocre, the food is a joke, and her public responses to reviews are even worse...petty, defensive, and dripping with the same arrogance I heard on the phone. Then there's her social media.. full of cringe-worthy videos that make you wonder how someone can be this unaware of their own attitude. And apparently she orders Instacart and doesn't even tip. It's all the same energy: take, brag, and belittle. If she ever treated customers with even a fraction of the respect they deserve, she might actually have a good thing going. But for now, her reputation matches her product.. stale and hard to swallow.

Three days later, I had not received a reply to my email so I called the bakery. The voicemail says something to the effect of "we can't hear over the noise of the mixers, so send an email". I explained that I HAD sent an email and I was awaiting a response. Twelve hours later, I finally got one. It said "Sorry for the delay. I'm unavailable for this date." Well. I'd like to be able to comment on the cake's flavor and texture. Or it's decoration. Or anything. But I can't, because I just don't know. And I never will.
