HEMET's TOP PHO! I've been to most of the valley's pho restaurants and this one easily beats the others. I'm very picky when it comes to Vietnamese broth, I hate when I'm served a bland dish. Not at Pho Shack, I had an amazing meal! A friend of ours recommended this restaurant and we are super IMPRESSED! The meat was tender, the broth was high-quality, and the serving was sizable. I recommend the beef pho if you're selective like me. Service was decent, the staff were very reserved but they weren't rude. I don't think they provide refills here. My only real complaint is that the restaurant doesn't have AC (or at least it wasn't on), uggh. If you're looking for a quiet spot to enjoy some company comforting pho, this is a great place to visit. There's comfy booths and tables for a variety of group sizes. I was craving for Vietnamese food and found this place. My husband and I walked in and were immediately greeted with a rambunctious "hello! welcome!" The person that took our order was very attentive. Their portion size and price is very commendable. Wow, what a hidden gem I consider myself lucky to have found. My husband and I were in the area and decided to try out Pho Shack since hot soups are nice in the winter. We were so surprised to find a nice, cozy restaurant with great service and food. The lighting is nice and clear, and you can choose from booths and tables, which were all cleaned. The most amazing thing about Pho Shack is the pricing. We were able to get pho for under $15 each, which is such a great price considering the quality. The broth is very flavorful, with a deep, rich umami taste. This is a real nice restaurant to go sit down at and have some pho! The large is very large and filling. The brisket was good, tender. The broth was good. Add in their chili paste and make it as spicy as you like it. Surprised I liked it so much given some of the places in town are not this good, especially the broth. Will return for sure. I have had Pho all over the world. I have suffered through versions of Pho that resembled Canned noodle soup and really should have changed the name to Phoyucky. I have also had Pho in LA, NYC,and Saigon. All were great Imagine my surprise when I went to a little place called the Pho Shack and had the best Pho of my life. First time here. Ordered the Bento Box Orange Chicken. The chicken was so hard with no flavor. They give you some lettuce with a few carrots and no dressing.. (said it was a salad) the chicken egg rolls tasted like fish. The soy sauce was disgustingly dirty. The white rice was so dry. They give you dipping sauce for the egg rolls that taste like vomit. Tried this place for the first time today with my boyfriend and his mom. We all 3 got the filet mignon pho and the broth was my favorite part of it all and the meat was nice and tender. The service was quick and they were super friendly and welcoming! We were the first ones in there for dinner time so we were a little nervous wondering where all the customers are. It was the perfect weather for soup! Not even 5 mins later the place started filling up quick!! OMG! Best boil I've had in a very long time! If you're in Hemet/ San Jacinto area and debating on going out of town for decent sea food boil, you don't need to. My wife and I were scouting the local areas because we don't like driving too far since we commute for work, and we came across Pho Shack and it did not disappoint at all. It's a small business owned Vietnamese restaurant that has an option for the boil (their Pho is also amazing). We got option 2 which comes with 1lb of Shrimp, muscles and snow crab with a free lb of choice of clams or shrimp, we chose spicy option with a mango smoothie and the portion was enough for two for sure we had leftovers. This is the most legit Pho spot in Hemet or surrounding areas. Their pho is on point and the pork banh mi IS AMAAAZING. The bread was a delicious vessel for the tender pork and veggies and I hope it's not rude to dip your sandwich in the pho because it is delish. We'll never go back to this place again!! I ordered a large pho and the flavor was not good. I also ordered shrimp tempura and it was definitely the frozen kind you get at the stores. We also got calamari that tasted horrible. We arrived at around 2pm and we were the only couple there and the server forgot my drink and tried to charge me at the end. A little pricey, and smaller portions than I'm used to. The food is amazing, for what I order here, I always order the same thing, : -the large All In Fried Rice -the large Tempura Shrimp Delicious, but small portions, literally, 1 piece of shrimp in your large fried Rice , it should be 3 minimum $15 dollars each. So happy this place opened so close to home we usually drive all the way to target area from east hemet to get pho we tried their Thai tea and it was so good ! Passion fruit was delicious but extremely sweet we ended up getting about 3 times the serving since we watered it down so that was worth it. I had the pho and it was delicious I like that they have grilled meats. I have gotten the wrong order and when specify to them I order steamed chicken pho and Beef spring rolls. I gotten grilled chicken instead and.pork sprung rolls when picking up the man said yes. Best Shrimp Springs Rolls ever! When ordering Fried Rice I usually order it with shrimp, however their Fried Rice was yummy even without shrimp. The portions are enough to take home for another meal.
