Let me tell you... I was NOT disappointed. We drove about 35 minutes from Temecula, and it was hands down the best decision ever. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The food here was far better than expected. The wife and I were both pleasantly surprised by the flavor and the very large portion size. The loaded Mac and cheese was excellent and the 4 tender combo was also very good but the garlic bread could have had more flavor. The inside is like any other quick food restaurant in town but from what I could tell it was primarily a pick up and take home restaurant. The food came out hot and quickly which is always a plus. The wings tasted like they were pre-fried, reheated, dry as sand, and straight up OLD. Not "overcooked"... I'm talking about that stale, been-sitting-around-all-day type of taste that makes you instantly regret spending your money. Trying to fix it with sauce was a joke. The mango habanero was absolutely disgusting -- weird flavor, no balance, just nasty. When I calmly told the cashier / waiter that the wings were gross, he became visibly offended and immediately went into defense mode, hovering around like he was waiting for us to start begging for a refund. That energy alone made the whole situation awkward and uncomfortable. News flash: customers should be able to give feedback without being treated like they're starting a fight. The atmosphere inside was just as bad as the food. No music. No TVs. No welcoming vibe. Just a dull, lifeless room with dirty floors that make you question what the kitchen must look like . The sodas and other beverages were so watered down they tasted like flavored tap water. And let's talk about that warm ranch... because WHY was ranch dressing served warm?? After eating it, my wife ended up dealing with serious stomach issues shortly after. That right there crossed the line from bad dining to straight up concerning. The only reason this place isn't getting completely dragged into oblivion is because the fries were actually good -- fresh, crispy, and seasoned right. But let's be real... good fries can't rescue old wings, nasty sauce, poor customer service, questionable cleanliness, and a dead, uncomfortable environment. My favorite item at Buffalo jacks is their fried pickles. I got their fried shrimp sandwich. The bread was very soft and the shrimp was nice and crisp,but I think that I am not a fan of too much sauce so I just ate the shrimp on the side. My daughter got the ham and cheese croissant sandwich and it was hot and it was really big. She couldn't eat it all and she doesn't like hot sandwiches. Both the shrimp sandwich and ham croissant are super runny. So be prepared to wash your hands after. read more

I am very happy! I love about 5 minutes from this spot and have wanted to try it since it opened. I finally did tonight and I am so pleased with everything. The service was incredible, the person taking my order was so kind and welcoming. The food was hot, fresh and crispy! You can tell everything is made fresh to order, not refried. The fries were so crispy and you can tell they keep their oil clean. The Nashville chicken was plenty hot! I ordered extra hot and loved it. Fried pickles were delicious. I thought the food was great and competitively priced. It was freshly cooked with a large portion of fries and a refillable drink. I met what I believe are the owners of this location. They were very nice and welcoming, they seemed to genuinely appreciate our first visit. The store itself has a nice atmosphere and was very clean. Instead of driving to the other side of town to Dave's Hot Chicken I thought we'd try this place. Customer service was so bad we didn't even get through the order. The man who took our order was extremely condescending and just flat out rude! I couldn't believe it. Was waiting for this place to open for months. I was excited to finally get a chance to try it out, and I can happily report it's quite tasty! Being excited and talking to the staff for quite a while, they were very happy for us to explore the menu and even offered us a few extras. Drink-wise, we enjoyed their boba and lemonade. And for the food, I enjoyed their hottest Hot Chicken and their 6-shrimp plate. Everything was very well cooked and seasoned, which made the wait for the store to open worthwhile. I could've handled the chicken significantly hotter, but I'm a bit unusual. I'm sure most people will find it enjoyable.
