This past week we were in phoenix for a wedding and our bride, being a bit spooky herself, arranged for us to go on this ghost tour and we had a blast! Lucas was our guide and he was charming, kind and very informative. We were a group of sassy girls and he handled our sass and played along while still keeping us on track and focused. We had warned Lucas ahead of time that I had a knee injury and he was so careful to make sure I was accommodated and had places to sit whenever possible and checked in with me to make sure I was doing ok. I had been to phoenix hundreds of times but still managed to learn a ton of things I didn't know. Also we caught a weird figure in photos at the Rosson House when we looked back. A lot of us had the same photo from the same angle and the figure wasn't in all the photos. So definitely spooky!! 100% would recommend. read more

Decided to take a ghost tour at the last minute and Phoenix Ghosts made it simple to do online. Adam did a great job taking on this tour which we thought was pretty resonably priced. We added the additional 30 minutes on our original tour. Phoenix downtown is such a modern city now, that sometimes the past is overlooked so this is a nice tour of history and ghost stories combined. We had a great time and needed a good walk after dinner. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes for walking. read more

I've done three ghost tours in downtown Phoenix and this was by far the most comprehensive, professional, and well researched of them all. Our guide Lorelei was incredible. If you're looking for a really creepy and scary ghost tour this may not be the one, BUT it was still entertaining and informative. We paid for the regular tour and the 30 minute extension. The extension was an extra $6 pp, so the total came to around 65. Keep in mind, I don't think they provide an end time because the tour length can vary. We paid for the 30 minute extension but didn't even stay cause it had gone over way longer than we thought, it had already been over 2 hours. You really need to know an end time especially if you have other things planned. Brandon was our guide and he was really funny and knew A LOT about the different stops on the tour (7 altogether). There did seem to be a lot more discussion about the history of the places themselves versus the scary ghost/paranormal/spooky activity that happens in them. For example you'd get a 20 minute history lesson at one location and then only 5 minutes about the paranormal activity that happens there. You also did a lot more standing than walking. One thing I wish Brandon did was talk towards the audience instead of towards the building, because in a big group it was very hard to hear him even with a microphone. Overall, it was a nice experience especially because the weather was great, you learn a lot and can work off the downtown Phoenix dinner you probably ate beforehand. read more

I recommend this tour for everyone, not just for out of towners. I have lived in PHX for 21 years and my boyfriend for 45. I love everything haunted so wanted to take the tour. It does not matter how long you have been in AZ or in Phoenix. The tour touts itself as a haunted tour but what it really is, is an amazing tour of the history of Phoenix. Of course when you are dealing with buildings as old as they are in Phoenix then you will have hauntings associated with them. I was amazed at the level of history we have here! Arizona and City of Phoenix for that matter, are so new in the whole of the United States but we have some deep rich back story and history that when you just drive through the city or are walking from restaurant to restaurant you wouldnt know! I wont tell you all the locations we saw. I will say just sign up for this tour. You will not be dissapointed. read more

Maybe it depends on who leads the tour because I see a few positive reviews. We left on our walking tour with 11 people. By the time we ended the first tour, there were only 5 people left. Others ditched the tour along the way. We'd paid for the extended tour but decided it wasn't worth it so we left. Lovely evening, nice sites but we could've stood outside and googled the sites for the story ( I did it before we got to the tour) for a LOT cheaper. The tour guide, never got a straight answer on his name but he mentioned Damien, was over the top theatrical and silly. Might have anger issues, he was offensive and aggressive at times. Half the time we couldn't hear him, don't know why he walked around wearing a microphone because he never used it. Could've been handy. read more

I am not sure where to begin on this review. It started off very strange as the tour guide was eccentric but not in a charming or fun way. We had 6 people, me and my husband and 4 other women. He was very up close and personal, and really only talked about vague grandiose life questions rather than telling us about the ghosts and the history. He also rambled quite a lot about demons and angels and how he is going to "change our beliefs" before the night is over.... But all we got was half the history of every stop and in between him getting over the top exestential. This tour I am SURE would've been amazing if the someone more personable and knowledgeable was running the tour. The guy we got was a blonde version of Zach baggins just less awesome and way more confusing. This was NOT a ghost tour but it so could be. I suggest adding more to the tour to make it worth 26.99/person bc this tour was not that. I really wish I could get our money back so we could try again with another guide Please make some adjustments and make it worth our while! I would totally come back if more was added and more time to explore and read EMF was allowed. I love to learn about historical sites and tragic events but not while our tour guide is ranting for 20mins about things that really don't have to do with the history or ghosts. read more

Did not my tour guide today didn't seem like he knew what he was talking about. Seems like a lot of guessing. Why offer to rent out EMF when you don't really offer to use them or go around and explore. This tour is not worth your money guys. We went with another company and the fee included the EMF detector and a spirit box. read more

I took the extended tour and I was greatly impressed. The times may vary, but our tour started at 8pm and went until 11:30 pm and I was impressed by the guide and the spots the whole way. If you are actually expecting to see ghosts, this is not for you. However, if you like historical accounts of the haunted places and the stories behind the sitings, then you'll love it. Make sure to wear comfy shoes and take plenty of water. It was 108 degrees during our tour, which began at 8 pm. The guide was very knowledgeable and I really enjoyed her stories. If we would have paid to take an emf reader, maybe we would have noticed a presence. The souvenir ghosts are really cute too. We just did the standard tour that took an hour. They also have an extended 30 minute tour that includes 4 extra stops for just a few dollars more per person. I think it was worth doing once. read more
