It was a wonderful day trip where we got great views of the Grand Canyon and even had time to make a quick stop in Sedona!

She makes you feel comfortable and like you've known her for years. She's incredibly personable and definitely knows her way around wine. Unfortunately, during our tour today, we couldn't go to Page Springs or the other wineries in Cornville due to the fire that started midday today but the Cottonwood backup plan worked out great! The first stop, Alcantera in Camp Verde was a nice gem. I had never heard of them before and it was a good start to the tour. Lunch at Farm Go Go Cafe in Cornville was insanely delicious! Farm fresh ingredients. Everything that's included in the experience is wild: the ride to and from NAZ, the wine tastings AND lunch. She provided snacks and water in the vehicle as well. I 100% recommend people try this out as a fun day trip with friends or even as a romantic day date. I can't wait to see her business grow when she's able to take groups bigger than three/four. I would do this again and try out her brewery tour next time.

I recently did the Verde Valley Ride from Scottsdale and we visited 3 wineries. Our bus driver,…read moreDennis, was friendly and safely took us to our destinations. 2 of the 3 wineries we all enjoyed. The second place specializes in omitting sugar from their wine but we didn't like the taste. I'm not a wine connoisseur so it's personal preference. The weather was great when we went but that also meant that the vines look dead at the wineries. We were told they are green and beautiful in the summer but I think I'll pick nice weather and dead looking vines than braving the heat in AZ. Overall, I highly recommend this trip and although there is food in two of the places, definitely pack snacks and food on the bus!

When I inquired about what was going on, they said it was a glitch in the calendar and there shouldn't be any rides that day. However, the same issue happened two years ago when I tried to plan another birthday trip. So if you're looking to plan something for an important date, you may want to rethink it. Otherwise, you may be left scrambling trying to find something to do once they cancel your reservation because of a "glitch" I have made a total of four reservations for the wine. Wagon. The first two times were great, the last two times were canceled last minute, both for birthdays, and both left me scrambling.

I planned a tour with 6 friends in hopes to just have a fun day away from home but we got so much more! First, we were greeted by 2 beautiful smiling faces (Colleen & Tina) who welcomed my friends & I into their cool & comfortable "wine-a-bago"...fully stocked with water & snacks. After we buckled ourselves in, the memorable tour began. Colleen took the time to educate us on the history of wine, conducted an aroma test with us for various flavors found in wine and then guided us through Oak Creek Vineyards, Page Springs Cellars, Arizona Stronghold Tasting Room, and Pillsbury Wine Company. To top the day off, Colleen & Tina set up an amazing private lunch for us right along Oak Creek. It was absolutely breathtaking! Nothing like fine wine, fresh bread, assorted cheese, meat & veggies. Oh - and I can't forget to mention we each received our own wine glass & souvenir bag! At the end of the day, our tummies were full, our hearts were warm, our knowledge of wine was broader & another life long memory was created with great friends!! Thank you Arizona Grape Escapes for putting all the important touches into a tour that is far from hopping onto a college party bus & getting drunk for the day. This is what a REAL "Wino" is looking for in a wine tour! We look forward to many more tours in the future!

We met the team early on a Saturday morning, and I couldn't believe that we were going in a small basket. I almost jumped in the van with the 15+ group, but instead it was basically a private ride - just Kevin, his niece, his wife, and the two of us. (The other two were helpful when we landed, not to mention photos. Kevin's wife is an expert at getting the best photos. She took the rising sun shot of me that is no doubt the best photo ever taken involving me!) Kevin is a seasoned pro, and the trip showed. We went up high, where we could see the mountains by Flagstaff, the mountains by Tucson, and everything that lay in between. But then, being a smaller, more maneuverable balloon, we were able to skim along the desert hills. We soared just over the tips of the saguaro cacti, and Kevin told us all about the desert flora and fauna. We saw several jackrabbits and even a coyote. This is not the experience you get in the larger balloons, and it's absolutely magical! We eventually landed in the middle of a housing community, which brought a crowd of interested onlookers, but the chase team showed up quickly to load up the balloon while we heard the tale of the first balloonists and then drank a champagne toast to the rising sun while we listened to the Balloonist's Prayer. It was truly a special event, and it did not disappoint in any way. It is hard to live up to something you've always dreamed of doing, but somehow Kevin and his team made it all that and then some.

We had three stops on the tour for 1) Ice cream, 2) gelato and 3) sorbet. All were excellent. We certainly had our fill of sweet treats, all included in the price of the tour. We would certainly recommend this company for one of their many various tours, based on this experience. We bopped around Old Town Scottsdale, being given historical information about the town/city and various landmarks. It was extremely interesting and a nice mellow way to start the tour. We then went up towards the Phoenician resort and toured the ritzy neighborhoods to see the beautiful homes - that is definitely an spect of the tour I don't think we'd get anywhere else! There were options to stop for photos, beverages etc. I would note to be prepared for the breeze as you ride on the golf cart and be aware you'll likely be on a couple busy roads with actual cars so ensure your belongings are secure. It was an absolutely fantastic time and I can confidently say I'd love to do another tour with any out-of-town guests who visit me!

My husband ordered his favorite dish, the Trio of Medallions, Horseradish, Bleu Cheese, and Parmesan-Crusted Filet Medallions served with Mary's Potatoes and asparagus. It's his go-to order every time we visit. My son ordered the Junior Filet Medallions with fresh fruit and French fries. He loved the steak, although next time he said he'll order it medium rare instead of medium. My daughter kept it light with the Caesar salad and added grilled shrimp for protein. I ordered the Parmesan-Crusted Mahi Mahi, and it was outstanding. The crispy caper lemon butter sauce is incredible! It's served with broccolini and Mary's Potatoes. My in-laws shared the Baked Parmesan Shrimp Scampi but swapped the capellini for rigatoni. They both loved it and said the pasta substitution was the perfect choice since they aren't fans of capellini. From the good food to the attentive service, Cooper's Hawk delivered another wonderful experience. Their menu truly has something for everyone!
