The problem was not correctly addressed. At no time did they check to determine that most of the water had drained out of the boiler. They said I needed a new aquastat and replaced it but set it to 200 degrees (about 40 degrees higher than needed). When I had a technician from a company that knows how to service boilers look at it, the inside was very dirty (had not been getting regular cleaning, although I had paid for maintenance each fall). He discovered that the water had drained out, that it needed flushing, and has repaired the boiler.

When the paint was dry I went down to document the poor job with pictures. I found I could peel the paint up. I also found where the concrete was pitted, paint was poured in and still pooled. The final worker to come to finish the job was a contractor. He said the job was not done properly, the floor should have been sealed with another product. He did the best he could to finish the job with the Kilz. He took pictures and was going to discuss the poor job with the manager. We made several calls and sent an email.
