My experience with Hubbards Plumbing went from a 5 in 1988 when Hubbard installed plumbing in my…read morenew home, a 3 summer 2013 and now 1 star. 1988 Hubbard installed the B vent in home carpenter did not finish B vent correctly code officer passed all work in my home and according to Hubbard the Code OFficer did not do his job. 1988 two months after home finished tub installed by Hubbard in bathroom where the B vent was staring at Hubbard yet not a word that it was unsafe. The next 26 years Hubbard maintained all plumbing: low flush toilets ( B vent staring at Hubbard while installing toilet), sink, hot water heater and all plumbing maintenance. All those years the B vent was not finished correctly yet Hubbard never informed me of this error on builder part. April 2013, I requested a bathtub be installed and was scheduled for June yet called and never got a service call appointment. May 2014 home inspected for sale Chad Hubbard arrives and tells realtor and buyers : it is noted the B vent is a fire hazard, not code compliant, and potentially noxious fumes. Chad Hubbard states " as you see Anne I cannot state all is well when there are several life safety issues" When a plumber ignores "several life safety issues" in a home that he has maintained for 26 years I question how safe my family and friends are when doing business with Hubbard Plumbing.

Overall Zach Zanghi (owner) has fair prices, communicates well and employs knowledgeable people.

We called Mertec to come out and fix the pump or we were going to have to have our house full of people go home. My call was answered on the first ring by a pleasant gentleman. He asked a bunch of questions then made some suggestions as to what we might try first. We did and called him back. Based on what we told him at that point, he made some final suggestions and asked that I call him back and let him know how that worked out. We did what he said and the pump worked great. I called him back to say thank you and ask how much I owed him and he chuckled and said you don't owe me anything, but that if plumping needs arise in the future to think of him. I absolutely will look to Mertec for any future needs as well as recommend them to anyone in need. Our fix was simple for people that have some basic mechanical knowledge. However, rather than take our money, be was more interested in making sure we has water service. Thank you for saving our weekend.

The technician, Mike, was outstanding as he recommended that I sit down with him to watch the inspection of the fireplace and explained in detail the images as they crossed the screen. Mike also inspected the chimney on the roof and the vent for the oil-based furnace in the basement. Mike provided me a complete report with pictures, and he went over his recommendations. I am having them come out to perform some repairs that were needed.

Their quote was actually less then a competitive quote that I received from another electrician. Since Clover recommended them, it was a no-brainer. When our hot tub arrived in town, we scheduled delivery with Clover. D and D was ready that day to spend the whole day at my house. We had to hook up the hot tub, but also get a new 200 amp panel installed. D and D took care of everything. On installation day, they arrived before they said they would to prepare. Dwight was the main electrician, and he brought 3 other amazing electricians with them. They worked in sync as a team the whole day to do the electric service, new panel, new meter and hot tub hook up. They answered all of my questions and gave me options for the best way to run lines or place devices. They also completed a few other small jobs while at the house. By 3:00 or so, everything was done and we were back in business with our new spa. Dwight is also a hot tub expert so he helped me start up the tub and add the chemicals. We have had so many poor contractors at our house that either don't show up on time or do questionable or slow work.
