I declined this service as the engagement ring was purchased elsewhere. At this time their insurance policy was not explained to me. The day after purchasing the wedding band and it being sent out for adjustments, I was contacted by an employee and asked to bring my engagement ring in because they needed it to size the wedding band properly. Only upon arrival to the store they asked for proof of the rings valve, which I did not bring with me. Upon asking further questions, I was also informed that it was store policy that they could only insure the engagement ring for $10,000, regardless of the value, because it was not purchased through them. For obvious reasons, I was not going to allow them to send my engagement ring out with insurance covering only part of the value. The sales woman initiated a total refund for the wedding band as requested. My primary issue is the lack of communication with first two employees I encountered and the company policy to only partially insure customer's jewelry.

A crystal store where people expected normal and got something different? Sounds like my kind of place, and now I am SO GLAD I made this choice and took this chance.
