Lunch on the patio with my husband
    Glenda H.

My husband and I had lunch a couple days ago and enjoyed our meals a lot... best pho I've had there in a while. I would give 4 stars but was shocked at what one waitress wore; a black one piece leotard, no skirt nor shorts. So all that was noticeable was panties. Not appropriate for any work place.

Well we got there and a very fast wait and we got are food super fast and are appetite dumplings we're pretty good but the noodles were not my favorite. The waiter was super nice and was working so hard! The sauce was good but the smell of my noodles were also not my favorite. The view of the pond was amazing and the chicken was very, very good!

Food is alright. Not the best but still good. Got 3 star today because my drink had some type of paper or plastic in my drink. Found it after I drank half way through lol.

I enjoyed the broth very much. Got a brisket #4 and it was very good. They also had hot oil that was spicy which most places don't have. Very nice ambiance, cute place and I had a strawberry lemonade basil tea and it was okay. Tasted like artificial. I'll give the milk tea a try next time

This pho spot has it all! Good food? Yes. Clean spot? Yes. Mediocre service? Yes. Everyone knows that the perfect score for any Asian spot is a 4.5 star. That's how you know it's authentic and traditional. Our love language is food, not words of affirmation or acts of service. So if you want good food, this is the spot. With that said... I've never had an ugly experience here. A water refill isn't guaranteed, but the food is. So I usually get the Phoenix special. It's a beef based pho with meatballs, brisket and tendon. Superb. The soup is hearty, complex and full of soul. There are different layers to it. The meat is well cooked and savory. They offer a well portioned plate of sprouts basil and lime. I always ask for more hoisin. No shame in asking for more! To each their own. Their boba selection is solid, offering juices, teas and milk teas. It's the perfect way to end your meal. Their appetizers are yummy. I like the spring rolls in the peanut butter sauce. Full of shrimp and beef. Paying is quick and easy. The location is in a nice spot, right by this man made lake. Definitely hit it up on a chilly night!

Beef pho was great. The inside is very clean and cute. Service was great even though we ate outside on a rainy day because we were traveling with a dog.

Absolutely delicious pho! It came out hot and had lots of meat and noodles. The staff was very friendly as well!

Had pho and two different boba drinks. It wasn't bad but wasn't my favorite. Cute restaurant.

They have some of the best pho in town, and I love the spring rolls, so nice and crisp on a hot day.

Like any normal Person I click and go straight the reviews and let me tell you I knew right then and there, where I was going for dinner. Another reviewer named JOE told a story of a wonderful little twink behind the counter named Miguel, it intrigued me. Who is this mysterious Miguel? So me and my buddy walk in and who did I lock eyes with? You guessed it, my knight in shining armor, Miguel. I approached him and said "I've heard so much about you", he blushes. I leaned in closer, whispered in his ear "I'll take 2 dragon rolls....miguel". He looks back at me and in the softest voice he told me "don't worry, the drinks on me today". Oh Miguel, I wish it was. But me and my buddy really enjoyed our food, heard the boba teas are delicious. Maybe miguel can boba teas nuts in his mouth.

Small portion size with big chunky fried pieces. Miso soup was okay, but wasn't packaged well ended up spilling on the ride home. Genuinely didn't enjoy the four rolls we ordered this time. Got the TNT Roll and California Roll we typically order, but didn't live up to the memory. We arrived at the time our order was supposed to be ready, but had to wait over 30 minutes for the pick up order. Floor was pretty dirty inside, but the tables were wiped down well. There are better options for sushi in Abilene. I do think Little Ninja's is comparable to running to the grocery store at this point. On a silly side note, several of the previous reviews highlight the lore and appeal of meeting Miguel at Little Ninja... I think that might be the most noteworthy aspect of this restaurant.

When I visited, I was greeted by the owner: the restaurant is run by just one older Filipino woman and she was so incredibly sweet and welcoming. Instead of a menu, she tells you what she has prepared for that day. When I went, I either had the option of ordering Pancit (stir fried rice noodles) or Chicken Curry. I ended up going with the Pancit and it did not disappoint. To start off, the presentation of the dish is great- the lemon flavor actually went well on the noodles. As for the taste, I thoroughly enjoyed the flavorful meal- the pancit had salmon and a variety of different veggies. Since I ordered the Pancit meal it came with lumpia (filipino eggroll) as an appetizer and flan for dessert. These were also great but the best part is that this entire meal was less than $10! Not to mention, the portions for the Pancit was huge (I had to get a to-go box and I had it for lunch the next day). All in all, I never thought I'd be able to experience Filipino food in Brownwood but I'm very happy to say that Manila Kitchen is the place to go if you want home-cooked Filipino food made with love!
