Dr Solmen worked on my big toe years ago. I was limping around with extreme pain. One visit, and he fixed the problem. One follow up visit, done. Recently I had ankle problems. One visit with Dr Solmen, with one follow up, and done. I've used Youngstown Ortho in Howland for rehab on my knee and shoulder replacements. Five stars!

Everyone is so kind and compassionate from the bus drivers to the aides to the nuns that run the facility. As a caregiver, breaks are necessary and they offer respite care at their assisted living facility, which is adjacent to the daycare. Everyone in assisted living is also very kind and caring, and I feel very comfortable, knowing that my mother is well taken care of when I need a break from caregiving. There are other facilities in the area that also offer respite care, but it is in the nursing home section of their facility, which is more like a hospital setting and not warm and welcoming, like Antonine Sisters.. Antonine Ssters also offers independent living, and I would highly recommend them if you need adult daycare, assisted-living, or independent living.

Bobby pushed me to do more than I thought I could and the rest of the staff was fantastic. On the other hand, their billing department needs to get it together! I paid my co-pay EVERY time I was in the office, they billed my insurance company quickly, and they paid Action without any issues. Problem is, I met my Out-of-Pocket maximum and now they owe me money! After a month of dealing with this (and they agree they owe me the money) I'm now fed up! Especially since they have sent me TWO bills saying I owe them money! (I posted this comment on their FaceBook page and it was promptly deleted!) I am very happy with the care and treatment that I received at Penn Ohio Rehab. I never had to…read morewait to see my therapist. He was extremely professional and explained what was causing my pain. He recommended dry needling as well as the traditional physical therapy. Prior to going to Penn Ohio I had not heard of dry needling but I definitely could feel the benefits of this type of treatment. After the dry needling treatment, my therapist would work with me in the gym area and taught me a variety of exercises that I could do at home between sessions. I sought a physical therapist after an unsuccessful and disappointing series of treatments from a chiropractor. At Penn Ohio my hip pain was diagnosed and a treatment plan was developed at the end of the first session. They were invested in my recovery and wanted me to feel better, not just keep me as a perpetual patient. After my pain had significantly lessened, they encouraged me to continue on my own instead of requiring me to "keep coming back". I've seen other physical therapists in the past with some good results but at Penn Ohio, the combination of dry needling and physical therapy helped much better than just the traditional PT. I had not been at the first appt, so she brought me right up to speed on the status of things. I could tell that my daughter was right at ease and comfortable. We enjoyed a casual banter throughout the visit as she explained things and answered questions, to/for both of us. Best of all, the first assessment and adjustment seemed to have worked very well. As a side note, most offices have worthless drivel magazines laid out as an after thought, but this was only the second office which I can recall which had books laid out, and carefully selected books at that. If you ask my family, they will tell you that I find fault with most businesses that I deal with, but I will certify that this office topped the charts for professionalism, service and true caring.
