Update responsive to Mr. Martin's recent review: As many…read morepeople do when you can't fall asleep at night, we play on the Internet. I noticed this recent review from someone named Mike Martin. I think if anyone is misrepresenting the facts, it is not David Mesnick. I attended physical therapy with David for almost 2 years. I was told when I made the first appointment that they don't take insurance; I was also told again face-to-face when I was checking out on day one, plus I have seen it on their website. However, for a flat fee of $50 per year, they will help you with the paperwork if you want to file a claim against your policy, but they do not take insurance and they expect payment immediately after their service is rendered. Everyone who goes to PT 360 knows that, except Mr. Martin. What I don't understand, and what makes absolutely no sense, is that when you complete your session, you stop by the front desk to pay. I assume Mr. Martin paid on his way out for each of his five sessions. At a minimum, I assume he knew after the very first session that 1) they don't take insurance and 2) they charge an annual fee of $50 to help you process the paperwork if you want to make a claim against your policy. So why did he, therefore, continue with four additional sessions??? I'm writing this review because I hate to see a good quality business like PT 360 slandered by someone's "misunderstanding," intentional or otherwise. I fail to see why Mr. Martin can't simply own up to the fact that perhaps he misunderstood instead of trying to interfere with a small local business by telling reviewers a bunch of BS and saying, don't go to this business - that's a terribly vicious way to handle what is obviously a misunderstanding on his part and/or a possible problem with insurance forms. David and the physical therapists at PT 360 are exceptional, professional, and ALWAYS gracious (never ever rude). They provide a much more hands-on approach to each patient versus the big orthopedic groups - that's why people continue to go to them even though they don't take insurance. I've used David and Sam, and my mother used Amanda. I can't say enough good things about all of them, as do all of the many unanimous 5 Star reviews on Google. Looking at Mr. Martin's other Yelp review, he enjoys critiquing the businesses he visits and even went so far as to accuse the other business of being "criminal." I'm not sure what his personal issues are, but I recommend that you go to PT 360 and see for yourself. You'll find David to be a soft-spoken gentleman, not the person depicted by Mr. Martin. I'm confident your experience will differ greatly from the one portrayed by Mr. Martin. Even my 90-year-old mother understood their payment policy, from day one and was extremely pleased with the promptness of their submission of insurance forms.....

Please read this entire review to understand why I'm giving this practice one star. Let me start on…read morea positive note and say that Sam Kridl is a wonderful physical therapist. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and very effective. Now, on to the well-deserved negative portion of my review. My physician referred me to PT360, and when I called, I specifically asked, "Are you in-network with my insurance provider, Aetna?" And the staff member told me, "Yes". I went to my first session with Sam, and afterward was told, "It's our policy to charge customers $50 to file your insurance claims." I was caught a bit off guard and said, "Wait a minute, I have to pay you to file claims, for you to get paid?" I've never heard such a thing. At this point, I asked a second time, "Are you in-network with my insurance provider, Aetna?" and was once again told, "Yes!" I did five sessions, asking each time if the previous claim had been filed, and I was assured it was. Well, they weren't. And not only that, it turns out that PT360 does NOT accept insurance. I had met my out-of-pocket for the year, so instead of my sessions being fully covered, I owed 100% of the cost of those sessions. While their mishandling of the insurance was costly and certainly disappointing, that's not why I have written this critical review. I reached out and respectfully shared details about my experience and received the most unbelievably rude and disrespectful reply from PT360's owner, David Mesnick. He told me I had "...misheard or forgot" what their policy was. Furthermore, he said (and this is a direct quote), "We are unapologetic about how we run our business." There are so many great physical therapists in Atlanta. Why would any customer do business with a company that misleads customers and then has the nerve to treat them this way? If you do choose PT360, just know this is concierge therapy, and contrary to what they may tell you, they DO NOT accept your insurance, and you will pay 100% out of pocket. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. If you want further proof of this owner's unprofessionalism, just read his reply, "This man is on Yelp with bald-faced lies and clearly doesn't value the good care he received." As I said in my review, I truly value Sam's care; it's the deceptive business practices I take exception to. Thanks for proving my point, David.

Old shoulder injury was acting up and after 6 weeks or so of hoping it would resolve, decided to try PT. Tyler did a great job of understanding the issue, developing a plan to address it and then executing the plan over 6 weeks. Each week after my in-person PT session (stretching, massage, dry needling, exercises) I received an email after the session with my exercises, stretches to do at home. My shoulder range of motion is greatly improved and the stiffness/discomfort is gone. Tyler very pleasant to work with as was the front desk staff. Highly recommend.

This is unlike ANY physical therapy you've had before! Instead of going to PT and spending 20 minutes "warming up" on a bike or treadmill while your therapist works with one or two other clients, you will have a highly trained physical therapist focusing only on YOU for the entire hour! I saw Merci for lower back, hip, and sciatica issues. She's AMAZING! Not only is she just an incredibly nice person, she's a truly skilled physical therapist who helped me a great deal. She employed a wide range of techniques and skills tailored to my particular needs. I highly recommend Merci and Functionize Health! NOTE: While they don't accept insurance, they will give you everything you need to file on your own.

I had cervical laminioplasty surgery in December on my neck. I've continued to have pain since and…read moremy dr strongly suggested going to PT to assist in my recovery. Sports Rehabilitation came highly recommended to me by a family member; unfortunately I found my visits to be entirely worthless. I visited at least 6 times. In fact, after most appts I felt worse than I had when I got there. Many times during my appointments a student in training worked with me under supervision of another therapist. (For what it's worth she seemed to care more than the actual therapist. Also, I have no problem with students in training). When the therapist who I'd had the appointment with actually worked one on one with me he frankly seemed uninterested and like he couldn't wait for the appointment to be over. In fact, on one occasion he left early because it was the end of his shift, and on another occasion he literally put on his coat at the tail end of the appointment and said goodbye and left me in the hands of another therapist to put a heating pad on my neck. He truly seemed like he could care less about me getting better or finding out how he could help me. The final straw was when he realized I didn't have any more appointments on the calendar (I'd already decided I wouldn't be coming back by this point) and he tried to encourage me to schedule some more appointments and for the first time gave me some performance empathy...it was obvious to me he wanted me to do this not because he thought he could help me or cared, but rather because he wanted more appointments on the calendar to make quota. Very disappointed with my experience and I've already made arrangements to go elsewhere. Maybe I just had the wrong therapist, but I was really turned off completely from this rehab center.

I am writing about my Physical Therapist at the Sandy Springs, Sports Rehabilitation Center,…read moreKirsten Fogarty. I went in for PT due to a torn rotator cuff beginning in March after Covid hit. Kirsten was my 3rd therapist assigned to me (4th week) and I'm so glad she was! She was great! The other two PTs only provided exercises, Kirsten provided the manual work on my arm that I desperately needed in addition to the exercises. I couldn't use my arm for 6 weeks (in a sling). My arm had trigger points and pain up and down the arm, particularly around my elbow and under the arm near the arm pit. Each time I went she'd manually manipulate the problems areas providing tremendous relief. She was fun, pleasant and upbeat - great energy. I followed her guidance carefully and have full use of my arm and it was a massive tear. I highly recommend her.
