We took a hike at the White Mountains yesterday so hubby and I were inclined to go to Haverhill for ice cream specifically. Was so torn what to choose but I went with their chocolate raspberry (hard serve) in their homemade waffle cone. This was a single btw Hubby is a soft serve guy and he got a single too - raspberry and chocolate twist which he said was absolutely delicious. They have 4 sizes: baby, single, double and XL. Best ice cream in New England IMO. We were pleasantly surprised that they expanded. The farm store is much bigger and offers so many interesting local products. Service was friendly. Note that they only take cash at the ice cream windows but the store takes card.

Recently, I decided to place a scheduled online order for dinner takeout through Toast since I had some Toast cash to use. I ordered the Fish & Chips Basket ($19.99 plus tax), fried haddock served with choice of side (I chose a cup of chowder instead of the default fries) and cole slaw. I was in Haverhill when I placed my order and headed east on NH 25 to Bobcat. I arrived 35 minutes later and my order was all set and bagged. I actually went outside to eat the food. The breades haddock was crisp outside with flaky haddock filet, tartar sauce provided. The chowder (cup portion) was smooth & creamy with minced clams, potatoes, onions & seasonings. The crunchy chopped cole slaw was wet and tangy. I would stop again at Bobcat Country Grill for food, and try some other things like their burgers and BBQ.

I loved their Fall specials menu especially the Witches brew (white chocolate w pistachio) that I ordered. They also have pastries and protein balls. Ambiance is so cool & cozy with all the fall/halloween decorations.
