I don't ever write reviews but I'm still shaking in anger about this place. Very unreliable, the man that received me was on the phone with someone else the whole time ( joking with someone in his language, NOT a customer ), he wouldn't hang up the call and wouldn't listen to what I was trying to say, my parents had taken it 1 and a half weeks ago to get the front and back replaced after a family cycling incident . At first glance it looked and worked great. He told my mom that it was going to be an original Apple screen, TODAY when I went he said it was a premium copy NOT original. The screen would GLITCH, it would FREEZE and it would be unresponsive. Last night there were lines across the display and today in the morning it went black. Keep in mind my mom was being extra careful and would leave the phone on the counter or at the night stand never sleeping with it or sitting on top of it - things he RUDELY said could be a cause of it. The first time we took it here and picked it up after - a corner of the screen seemed not attached and we concluded it was possibly the frame of the phone that was bent or perhaps just the silicone that is SUPPOSED TO BE THERE for adherence and water resistance, he ended up seeing a crack on that side and said that we had dropped it. Mom did not drop it all. We had spent over $300 getting it fixed! She wouldn't have been so reckless with it! We tried to tell him the screen wasn't making full alignment along the frame of the phone and it would freeze! He said it was all the cause of this one tiny little "CRACK" on the top right that we had dropped it and it was our fault. Fine. We go get money he claims to give us this huge discount - which I do appreciate in a way, aside from literally everything else he did wrong. We come Back. He sticks it in the case and the top right corner of the screen is not attached. THE SAME CORNER THAT WAS NOT ALINED AND WAS SUPPOSEDLY DAMAGED BY A CRACK. I pointed it out and HE SAID "oh sorry sometimes I forget to clip it back into place." ( WHILE STILL ON THE PHONE WITH SOMEONE) I asked well what the heck last time it was sticking out and I had all these issues so then it was your fault. He then again said "no it was a drop this was not my fault this is crack it's not under warranty." I asked don't you put silicone on the edges when reattaching it it helps with the adherence on the edges and with the water resistance. He said " no I don't believe that, I just put in the screws they keep it in place and it'll click back into place." He then got up and was wearing LOSE shorts with no underwear and his friken groin and lower belly was out in front of my mom. Terrible service, terribly unexperienced and big mouthed individuals who basically just BS their way into taking your money I attached the "receipt" - the man spent 5 minutes looking for something to write on. I came in today because I desperately needed to get my phone repaired. I wasn't even planning on coming here today but I was having in n out right across from this store and I thought why not just check this place out. I showed the employee my phone cracks on both sides and they repaired for not a bad price. I was really impressed with the quality and how efficiently they worked on my phone. It honestly looked brand new when I came by to pick it up. I also purchased a case and they were nice enough to give me a screen protector for free. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for good quality work. Only thing I'd say is they told me to come by in 2 hours which is a bit long for me but I'm assuming they were busy and had other clients ahead. read more

****RANT**** Phone King Phone Repair by the In n Out Burger: Brought in my iPad Air to get a charging port replaced. Spoke to Mohamed and I brought in my own charging port and screen replacement (from Amazon, had 4 star ratings and genuine fit). He said his technician can replace no problem and can pick it up in 3 days. I brought in the additional screen because I read that this procedure is better to have a screen replacement just incase of damage. I picked it up on Tuesday as promised and there was a image burn and he told me the the power button and volume buttons didn't work. Didn't use my replacement screen. (They both were working perfectly fine before the fix). Said no problem, he will open up again, put in the screen replacement and fix the connection to the buttons. Picked up 3 days after and all buttons work but speaker doesn't work as well as glue residue all on the outside of the screen. Brought it back in and said it will take another 3 days. Picked up today and it doesn't look like it was even opened, the rep called the tech and he said that the replacement charging cable that I brought in was missing a connection to the speaker. (I can hear static but no sound). These guys are a joke. Repair at your own risk.... To top it off... It doesn't even charge anymore... read more

I did write a poor review for this place before because of some bad chargers they sold me. I had 2 chargers that were supposedly the Apple ones break on me after only a couple days of use. I wouldn't recommend buying those. However, I gave them another chance today because I cracked my iPhone 7+ and it was around the time when all the other repair places in town were closing. They're open late, so I took in my phone. It did take an hour, but they gave me a great price and my screen is as good as new now. Worst experience ever... I went in to get my screen fixed and was quoted $130 for my screen and charger port fixed. I ended up paying $230 and him letting me know that my face recongization now does not work and it wont ever again. mind you that is how I pay with my apple pay. My phone now tweaks out and starts doing this on its own with whatever this man did to my phone. i am a single mother and use my phone for work. It was rough paying $230 but I knew it would benifet me and my job. But here I am out money with a phone that does stuff on its own, hardly charges and can never use my face recognition again. Customer service seemed great, but this place operates like body shop. Bring it in for one thing but will have more trouble down the road. And instead of taking responsibility they coincidentally know exactly what the problem is and how much to fix it. Brought iPhone 7plus in to change charging port. When I picked my phone up the haptics (vibration) on my home screen did not work. Mentioned it and fixed it no problem. Phone calls from this point on were a nightmare. My voice would come in broken and muffled. Left it overnight and they claimed to look at it and said everything's fine. I lived with the issue for a month and at this point I can't hear anything during phone calls and the other end can't hear anything at all either. I come back and what a surprise, they now know what my problem is and have a price ready. This is before looking back at my phone to make sure it couldn't possibly have been something while in possession of my phone. Tried to play the "we only touched this area and did this and that so it couldn't have been us." Game. So I called Apple, got an appointment, then checked at an Apple store, where they identified my problem and pointed out it was from mishandling of my phone. Took my phone apart and asked "Did you try fixing this yourself?" Then showed that it's been tampered with outside of the work that was claimed to be done. Doesn't sit well with me so I want to give a fair warning to future customers. ***They were very adamant about having my passcode just to test the calling. Seems sketchy that I have to tell the "phone king" they don't need my passcode to test calling, just call and answer. I tell him no that I already have one. I take my phone and he's taken the one that I had off. He asks me again if I want to buy a phone case that he has a lot of phone cases. I again tell him I have one and you must have taken it off cause it's not in my phone now. I describe it to him and he looks at me like he doesn't know what I'm talking about. Their quote was the BEST price that I was given between Best Buy and Batteries and More Store (who said they didn't even have the screen size in stock). I went back to Phone King once I got the cash to get it fixed and it was super simple! Best Price AND we got a screen protector put on to help avoid future cracks. SUPER polite man helped me and did the repair while I waited. He gave me a time and I said I wasn't in a hurry, but he had it done way faster. I believe Phone King is now under new owners, so maybe some of the previous negative reviews were under the old one? While I was waiting I looked around. When I went to pick it up I realized the screen was raised more than it should be and he said no no it's fine! I got the screen replaced Sunday and it is now Tuesday -and the screen is already broken even though there's a glass screen protector on it. It was already glitching yesterday too. Stay away! Went here to get my camera and protective glass replaced. The protective glass on my camera cracked and began to fall off, as a result the camera lens got scratched so I had to replace both. Not even a month later the protective glass just fell right off. I went in and told them what happened and they charged me $45 to put it back on but did the worst job, it was bulging out on one end and as I showered two days later the humidity in the bathroom caused the inside of the lens to become foggy as a result of not being properly sealed/installed. I went back in and told them what happened and they said they couldn't help me because they did what I asked them to do and the camera must have been damaged before. Please stay away, horrible service here. You'll be spending more money having to get things redone the right way. What a waste! read more

The technician told me that he will repair my phone in about 30 minutes. But ,I was amazed, when I got my phone fixed in 20 minutes. They are very professional and friendly. Eli was great in quickly replying to me very late at night on yelp to help me get an old iPhone unlocked for an emergency trip out of the country. He was even nice enough to provide a chip for me (just in case) that works to unlock my current phone if I wanted to use it. Unlocking took 15 minutes! Yes you can go to your current service provider to unlock for free but in my situation in needing the unlock to be done right away it was for a good price. What I noticed he was trying to catch new customer and he wasn't worry about that person already there plus he opened my phone three times and he couldn't fixed well.
