Phone was fixed yesterday, less than 24 hours later while trying to reposition a screen protector the ENTIRE screen came off. Clearly the screen was not properly secured while being "repaired". Business owner said this must be due to being dropped. In all my years of iPhones, all the drops, never, EVER had the entire screen came off. He also even mentioned the screws on it, which he CLEARLY DIDN'T SECURE PROPERLY. Will be filing a complaint on BBB and reviewing on EVERY platform. Refused to fix without paying another $150. Took Iphone screen here to be replaced. After they put the new screen on it would freeze then the whole screen would turn pink then the phone would reset. I took it back for them to fix and they were not able to diagnose or fix the problem. I now am going to have to pay extra by taking it to apple or buy a completely new iphone. read more

I brought a phone in to be repaired and after they claim to not be able to fix it and after taking it to the Apple store I notice they had stolen my battery, my battery guard , stripped my mother board screw and stole my star screws. Do not waste your time or money on this joke of a business. The prices for one are taxed about 2-3x what the normal price for a iPhone screen replacement. I paid $150 for my girlfriends iPhone 12 not even a max the small version. Within a week her screen popped out of the phone and cracked in the corner. So you know the screens they are using are not original apple screens. She brought the phone on expecting the man to acknowledge the lack of quality in the screen and the install and would make it right by replacing the screen. I (luckily) haven't had to write an extraordinarily negative review in a while. Unfortunately, that streak ends here. On 6/4/15 I brought 2 iPhones (6, 5s) in for some standard cracked screen repairs. It's important to note the screen/button on the 5s was damaged but could be booted to IOS and worked. A few days prior, we retrieved photos, other info off the phone. The screen showed colors, just obstructed by the cracks. I picked up the phones and was told the battery for the 5s was dead when I tried to turn it on. Okay, cool. When I got home, I attempted to charge it up. The battery charging icon showed momentarily, then proceeded to restart over and over. An ongoing loop. It never booted to the home screen as it did prior to bringing it in. Wait a minute. I called Phone Max explaining this new issue. Teon M. called me back and told me to bring the phone by. Great. After speaking with Teon, my fiance noticed problems with the repair of his iPhone 6. Sloppy work. Uneven screen, improperly attached. He could move it with his thumb! The side of the screen next to the button stuck and could be pressed in. Uneven blacklight, bright spot near the top. Uh oh. 6/8 I finally get back to visit Phone Max. I emphasized the 5s now appeared to be BRICKED. Not to mention the sloppy work on the 6. Teon took both phones and I waited. He finally returned and the excuses began for the 5s. I explained I never would have brought it in for screen repairs if it hadn't been booting up/working. He showed me the phone with the screen removed and essentially blamed me/deflected the fact I was returned a phone that now held no value. He very reluctantly agreed the repairs on the 6 were not done properly. He took the 6 in the back and I called my fiance to let him know no resolution was being reached for the 5s. My fiance arrives, prepared to discuss the situation. He was returned his 6 with the "corrected" repairs. Still sloppy, backlight erroneous and now GLUE was caked all along the side. Here's where it gets ridiculous. We express our dissatisfaction and seek a resolution. Teon began to behave very unprofessionally. He says he doesn't like "my fiance's energy" and after a few more words, refuses to offer a refund. I told him I would be contacting my bank to file a dispute for not receiving the expected services promised. He becomes increasingly aggressive and raises his voice. Escalating things further and seeming to be trying to instigate a fight. He would rather create a scene than issue a refund. If you did nothing wrong, why the anger/defensive attitude? Needless to say, there was no reasoning at this point. I was very uncomfortable and we left. Dispute filed. Never had to do that before. Don't let slightly lower prices tempt you to choose saving a few bucks over the quality of your device. We learned the hard way. read more

Walked in @ 12:20 and out at 12:45. The lens of my iPhone 6 was smashed and the camera was blurry. It had fallen off the roof of my car @ 45mph. Do not ever go to this guy. My IPAD, which is a year old, had a cracked screen so I brought it in for a repair. He replaced the screen for $275 but bent the frame. The screen will not fit correctly now. You can see dozens of marks on the edges where he used a tool to remove the screen. After the initial repair, the home button would not work, so I took it back to give him the chance to repair his mistake. I picked it up and as soon as I got home I realized it still wasn't repaired. I gave him one more chance, but when I picked it up this time, he said it could not be repaired. When I requested he make a claim on his insurance for the replacement of my IPAD, he said NO and that he did not damage it. I asked for the money I paid, the $275, and he said No. BE AWARE-if you go to this guy, he may cause more damage and then tell you it's your fault. What a scam artist. read more

My screen wasn't registering my touch after the repair, so 3 days later when he received a new shipment of screens he honored the 90 day guarantee with no problems !! Took my phone in to repair a cracked screen. Worst idea ever. My camera lens was damaged in the process. I took it to a different place to get the lens replaced and they told me about all the other damage that was done. They had messed up some sort of wiring which was causing problems with my wifi (I hadn't noticed the connection) and there was all kinds of dust and particles inside the phone. Don't go if you have to get an iPhone 7 repaired. The guy Tion fixed the screen but messed up my home button (hyperactive motor). To his credit he said he'd pay for any further costs incurred. There were no costs (warranty) but it was still a time hassle to go over to Apple on multiple occasions to get everything worked out. Had my iPhone 6 repaired exactly one week ago. Paid $150 which seemed like a lot but everything appeared to be working afterwards so I agreed to the price as well as purchasing a $20 screen protector. Exactly five days later I noticed the button was sticking and not clicking properly and one half of it was getting stuck inside the screen. I was out of town at the time so had decided to return to the store to have it fixed when I got home however one day later the phone (with the "screen protector" on it) was dropped 1 foot onto a carpeted surface and cracked three small cracks across the screen, however the entire screen went black and now is completely unusable. I returned to the store explaining what had happened. Not only did he not repair the phone or offer me a refund but I explained that I would prefer my formerly shattered screen that was much more damaged yet clearly more durable and at least still working properly to be put back on my phone than have this new screen that doesn't work at all which he told me had been recycled. He then went further on to explain that since it was bent the replacement screen was not securely put on the phone anyway and that was why it had broken so easily which leads me to wonder why if he was not confident in the replacement in the first place why he would allow me to go through with what turned out to be an almost $200 repair that lasted exactly 5 days. I have had screens replaced on phones multiple times before and never has such normal wear and tear ruined a phone so quickly. I highly recommend you take your phone anywhere else to be repaired if you are looking for a professional repair and not just someone who will do or sell anything to get you to give them your money. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I brought in my BRAND NEW Verizon iPhone 7 yesterday and was quoted $180 by the guy that purchases the phones, though he was not in store to do the exchange. Went in today and he claims he misquoted me bc he thought my phone was unlocked and only offered me $100! He fed me crap about my phone being refurbished and I KNOW it was paid for outright. I even offered to accept $120 and he would not budge even though He misquoted me! He pulled up the unlocked version of my phone and I could see that the highest bid was $340, he still refused to pay me what was quoted, which was HALF and that. They claim to pay top dollar but all they want to do is haggle you into paying the least amount, even After they quote you a specific price, they will make up every excuse why they can't pay that amount. My phone was turned into PhoneMax after I misplaced it in a night out in downtown Atlanta. I assume someone tried to get money back for it and sold it to the store. Teon (the manager), thankfully kept the phone on all weekend, and I was able to track it back to this location. I had to wait until the following Monday morning to contact the store because they closed at 5pm on Sunday. I called right at 10 am when they opened and Teon answered right away. After describing my situation and phone, he assured me he had it and I could pick it up whenever I wanted. I came right after work and sure enough he had my phone and gave it to me, no questions asked. It is rare to see this level of understanding and good faith from businesses nowadays. Ok, to start off. I gave one star cause I had to in order to make this complaint. I'm a professional busy black woman and this company is in routine to where I'm headed through the week. Long story short, as I went in there was a lady complaining to a short black guy, that they DID NOT repair her phone correctly. I didn't know what was going on with that so who am I to judge. It seemed like a legit company, however, I had no idea that this is how they do business. I had my phone repaired on May 25, 2016, June 4 2016, my phone was doing the exact same thing as it was before they 'so called' fixed it. I took it back on the June 9, 2016, when there was another lady in front of me engaging in a full blown argument with the same short guy as before (but an entirely different woman) that her phone WAS NOT repaired correctly. She left out the door pissed and screaming. OK, now is my turn, the short guy pretty much told me that I did something to the phone period and he's not gonna fix it. I paid $129 to get the phone fixed. My phone WAS NOT repaired correctly and I will be taking him to court, not only for my money back but for the principle, because I'm a very busy woman and having to go through this. I will the pay extra money to take him to small claims court............... Today is my child's birthday and I was gonna give him this phone as his present (this will be brought up in court as well) Anyway this guy needs to go back to IT school.
