I have had speakers fixed ect as I'm notorious for dropping my phone. I have dealt w them for years always been satisfied. I brought in my phone with a cracked screen. Was told the part had to be ordered and it would be 3-5 "business days". at 9 days, as they refused to communicate with me, I went in person to check on it. They said the board was damaged (not before it went in) and it would be done in 2 more days. 2 days later and they say it will be done in 2 more weeks. Run as far and as fast as you can! I wish I knew the name of the lady who works here. All I can tell you is that she is amazing she is a phone Guru and her prices are very affordable. We actually brought her two phones that didn't work properly and she put the pieces in Parts together and made one phone all for $20 in less than 1 hour- and it's the kind of phone that you have to heat the back up to get it off. All you have to do is read the reviews. They hung up the phone on my wife for her asking if they would do a written warranty on the IMEI #. Go to Murfreesboro Phone Repair or Phone Exchange Phones and more are a joke. Incredibly rude, no etiquette, and in my experience, people that act this way are certainly not selling legal. read more

The worst customer service I have experienced. The owner refused to give a receipt on a repair that they sent off to be completed. Then became angry and asked me to leave the store when I reminded her that she should be nicer to her customers. It doesn't matter if you are good at repairing phones. "Do yourselves a favor and change the name of this place to Apple Products Only and Nonsense" was the last phrase I uttered to the gentleman assisting me with my repair. Back at the beginning of October I cracked my Sony Xperia Z3 screen to the point where it would not respond to my touch. the back of the phone had in fact been cracked on a separate occasion. However, until the screen was cracked the phone was still in working condition. I explained this to Patrick whom I assume to be the head repair guy and he told me $95 bucks for the screen repair. After waiting a week as requested by Patrick I returned to the "Phones and More" store to retrieve my phone and he advised me that the back to the phone had not come in yet and so he replaced my cracked back with the back to an Xperia Z1. Remember, I did not ask for the back to be replaced, I reminded him. He said that in repairing the screen the back shattered and he said I could take my phone home that day and when the other part came in I could bring it back and he would fix it free of charge. When I got home, in Hermitage 45 minutes away from Phones and More, the phone died and would not charge. So the next day, I returned to Murfreesboro, to Phones and More and informed him of the problem. At this point he offered to take a look at it and give me a "loaner" phone while I wait for the repair AND for the back to come in. Since I am not a fan of iPhone I reluctantly agreed because I had already been without a phone for a week. It should be noted that my phone was not finished getting "repaired" until a month later. Precisely a month. When I finally got my phone back the back of it was like new. However I noticed the screen seemed to sit ajar in the frame of the phone. For some reason, I thought this was a harmless temporary situation. Upon using my speaker for calls and music, I noticed the rich sound my phone once had was no more. I called Phones and More immediately but Patrick was not there. I called Patrick 5 times this week. One such instance, I spoke to a female employee whom I had not worked with before. While I was trying to explain my situation she put me on a 7 minute hold and when she finally came back to the phone she abruptly passed it to a different person whom I had not spoken with. Begrudgingly I began to regale the qualms with my phone and mid sentence, again, this lady passes the phone back to herself and asks me what it is that I want. I said well I was just explaining it to someone else and she proceeded to cut me off and advise me that if I have an issue with the phone to "bring it in and we look at it. Goodbye." It took me a couple of days to return to Murfreesboro after that and in that time my phone ended up breaking again. When I took it back to explain the screen not sitting in the frame correctly, I was speaking directly to Patrick and she felt the need to continue addressing me. She is completely rude and has no regard for the meaning or application of customer service. I was asking Patrick if my phone held any value in their store because it had become so problematic I was consider trading. Their failure to concur with this notion is why they should take the descriptive "Phones" noun from their business name. They only work with apple products exclusively. Samsung's are secondary and any other brands are circumstantial. Now supposedly, I am to meet Patrick somewhere to recieve my phone because the rude lady at the counter refuses to allow me in the store. Bottom line: Do not play customer with Phones and More on NW Broad St. in Murfreesboro. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! A few years ago, we used this place for a screen replacement and they were awesome. They must be under new management now. We brought a phone here for screen replacement. First, they took forever. Then, when we got the phone back, it would no longer connect to WiFi. We took it back and they said they would need to replace the motherboard, but couldn't fix it for a while, so we took it back home for the meantime since it will still usable as a phone. Right before we took it back, we literally ran a finger down the screen and it cracked right down the middle. They refused to replace it, although obviously, it had something to do with how they replaced the screen. They said we couldn't prove we didn't drop it, although it was pretty obvious by looking at it. Horrible customer service and bad work!! read more

They stated that it needs a new mother board funny thing is they never opened it to look at it. I used to think Cell phones and more was a great place for phone repairs. However I was wrong. A couple months ago, my phone had fallen off of my motorcycle and had cracked the front and back glass. i didn't have $160 for a brand new screen so they had a screen with a slight color blemish they sold me for $80 which would still be under warranty. They replaced the front glass, rear camera, and Digitizer so I had a working phone and cameras. Awesome! Well since a couple weeks ago my cameras stopped working so I took it in to have it looked at under warranty. I was told that my phone had gotten wet and that it could be a software issue which makes no sense. I would have to leave my phone for a few hours to see what was the issue. Keep in mind this phone is always in a case and is never in water. I didn't have that kind of time so I just figured no big deal. Well today a couple hours ago my phone started acting weird, opening up apps by itself and swiping stuff by itself which is a sign of a bad digitizer. I bring my phone back in and without even opening the phone up I was told the digitizer was cracked from dropping the phone. My phone hasn't been dropped. I was told that physical damage isn't covered under warranty. Which I understand however, it hasn't been drooped, thrown, or sat on. This has become a nightmare. They said they'd gladly replace the screen and digitizer for another $140 which I don't have. Sounds to me like they don't like standing behind their products. Pay $80 for screen repair. I took the phone home. Few hours later the screen had a crack across the top. I called the store and explain that I didn't drop or do anything to the phone. It crack by itself, after the repair. The owner don't believe me. They told me I have to pay the full price AGAIN to fix it. A fraudulent Chinese company. Took over a hundred dollars from my 16 yr. old kid to repair a screen. Replacement cracked a few hours later. Terra Tam Dao, the manager, accused him of dropping it and refused to fix it. It cracked while he was typing on it. She refused to provide the owner's name and refused access to their business license. It took the local police to get the manager's name. As long as you never have a problem - fine. If I could give no stars i would. The owner is a liar, rude, and disrespectful. We brought in a tablet with a cracked screen and provided her with a new glass screen. She said it wasn't going to be a problem and it will be ready before the day was over. It was never ready nor did we get a phone call. We called every day asking if our tablet was ready. She says she's still working on it. Ok fine. Our last call ( one week later) she accuses us of messing up the wiring? When we tell her that her associate turned it on and tested it, she then says the screen was defected. If the screen was defected why didn't you call us to tell us that instead of beating around the bush? Why didn't you let us know so we could find a second opinion? Why didn't you call to update us on OUR TABLET. If you couldn't fix it then why say that you can?! A week later we then decide to pick up the tablet and to see what the real issue was. As soon as we walk through the doors of her business, she immediately gets real defensive. She was rude and was arguing with us in front of her other customers. We confronted her and asked her why she would treat customers the way she does. She tells us to leave her store bc she didn't like hearing the truth! Just apologize and admit that you're wrong. And you shouldn't argue with a customer when you are the one in the wrong. I don't recommend this business to anybody!!! Worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life! I can tell her associate is scared to death of her. I told her I would file a bbb claim and she yelled "go ahead"! She also got smart and told us "if you want that defective screen on there I will do it for you charge you 45$." Ok smart ass b****! This company are a bunch of crooks. They offer a completely BOGUS warranty with their iPhone replacement screens. I went with them vs ordering the screen and replacing it myself due to this warranty. My son's iPhone screen stopped working just a few weeks after replacement. Instead of replacing the screen under warranty they claim it was damaged by being hit. They claimed they couldn't return it for credit due to being damaged. THIS PHONE WAS NOT DAMAGED. IT IS A DEFECTIVE PART AND SHOULD BE REPLACED UNDER THEIR WARRANTY. read more
