If yelp had an option to give 0 stars, I would have. Photocraft put me through the most painful service experience of my life. I wanted processing and true black and white prints from 35mm negatives, along with digital transfers to CD from those negatives, and another CD from other negatives I already had processed. When I got my packet back from them, it included 1 CD of awful transfers and terrible prints on color paper. I went back to them explaining what was wrong with my order, and the conversation took 40 minutes, worse then when I had prints made in Morrocco by a man who didn't speak any English. Eventually the Cro-Magnon I talked to understood my message (after accusing me of losing the missing CD). He kindly said it would be corrected (re-do the prints on B+W paper, and make a CD for the negatives). When I returned to pick up my second order, again the prints were on color paper because Photocraft doesn't do true black and white prints!! That might have been nice to know the first time around. The digital transfers I had done were extremely over priced compared to my photo place in San Francisco. For pixely, dirty 1.3 mb files a CD was $22, a little less then the price I get 200 mb photos for in San Francisco. They didn't charge me for true black and white prints, because they don't offer that service, and they made me the second missing CD without charging me a second time. Despite this, I wasted about 3 hours of my life. Also, when looking at some of my abstract photos, the manager commented "I don't even know what that is," as if it were a mistake. Thanks for the lesson in creativity, I apologize for not shooting HDR panoramas of Colorado aspens, you bland joke. This place is for the Thomas Kinkades of photography. read more

I had a very negative retail experience with this group and suspect its primary focus is business-to-business, not retail. I also suspect this is a shared-space arrangement as no one seems to be in charge. I've done business in the past with The Great Frame Up and will go back there for my future business. read more

I shoot 4x5 color transparency film with a wooden view camera. I used Photo Craft to drum scan some of of my shots, then I processed the files they gave me in Photoshop to get them ready for printing. I provided them with the file ready to print a 40" x 50" photo and took the risk that my file would print correctly using their Lightjet printer without their intervention. I also had them mount it on museum board. Their price was much lower than Reed Photo of Denver (and also, they are much closer to me since I live in Longmont and work in Boulder). When I picked up the photo (of water streaming down a canyon wall in northern Italy) they asked me if I wanted to inspect it before I left the store. I declined knowing that the risk was on me since I did the image processing. I took the image home and after several days of not looking at it (I was afraid that I messed up) I took off the wrapping and almost cried at how beautiful it was. They did a great job! I am now in the process of making my own frame to mount it in (I am frugal and cheap) and prefer to do things myself when possible. Unfortunately, you cannot visit the location that this photo was captured at since Italy has recently blocked off the area to visitors. That's a shame, it's a beautiful area. read more

I experienced, quite possibly, the worst customer service from the president, Roy McCutchen, the other day when picking up my final printed pieces from Photo Craft Imaging. After changing the colors on our floor directories, my client wanted to make sure they would print appropriately. There were color discrepancies in the first proof, so I resent updated files and asked for a second proof. A second proof was ran, approved, and sent for final production. I came in to pick-up the final directories and saw Roy McCutchen had charged me for 5 proofs. I explained I had only received 2 proofs (which were in my office) and was not clear why I was being charged for 5. Roy McCutchen then started audibly yelling at me about how difficult I was, he did, in fact, print 5 proofs for me, and HE spent much of his "precious time" on our "worthless directories". Not only was I appalled at his professionalism, but was also embarrassed for myself, the multiple Photo Craft sales associates at the counter, and 2 other customers waiting to be helped. The female sales associate helping me graciously apologized for her owners actions and stated when we come back next year, she will make sure we work with the sales manager. I explained to her "that I don't think we will be coming back next year." read more
