Photoboth store at Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. If you like or looking for old school phoyobooth, this is the place It has couple of photobooth. The store also sell other stuff like vynl and CD if I am not mistaken. We tried one time and like it. It is just we wish we can choose to retake if we don't like the photo before printing. It is about $6.50 to $7.50. The photobooth which we tried to used didn't work when we tried. We swipted outlr credit card twice and it didn't start and later the worker asked us to use other photobooth and gave us free photo. Interestingly is my CC still got charge twice and I had to dispute them.

Was in the Castro and was pleasantly surprised this was only a few blocks away. It was a fun little stop if you enjoy photo booths and getting vintage looking photos. The first room is quite small filled with a few booths to choose from. They range from $5-7 each depending on the style you want. Then wait another 5+ minutes for them to develop. What I loved is that each machine also took Apple Pay and credit cards. I was nervous since I didn't have too much cash on me. Definitely a fun stop and cute keepsake for couples, friends and solo pics!

I've seen this place advertised on social media for a while and finally had the chance to try. I came on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed. There is also a back room with more photo booths. I recommend going to the back as I liked the ones there more than the front. The place is very disorganized as it was hard to tell where the lines started and ended. The booths are very expensive, about $7 and up, which is on the expensive side. The photos come out wet, but there are hair dryers for you to dry them. Since they're older booths, there is no screen to see your poses and it's unpredictable when it's gonna take the pictures so you have to have your poses ready before starting. The photos take about 2-5 minutes to come out after you finish taking them. Most booths also only give you one strip. There is also a menu option to make key chains, scan photos, etc. Those were very expensive and I recommend just doing yourself at home. Overall, this is a pretty fun activity to do with your friends and significant others so I would recommend you go at least once.

Saw that this place just opened up a few weeks ago with photobooths to enjoy and came to take pictures on our anniversary. They currently have 3 working photobooths (2 vintage film and 1 digital one). And they hope to expand to more in the future :) There is a line to get inside and then shorter lines for each booth as it takes about 2-4 minutes for the films to develop, but we spent about a good 30 minutes in the museum. You definitely get chances to take multiple turns so take your time!! The staff are so friendly and helpful at explaining how the process works before you enter. The pictures came out so beautiful and special, definitely the perfect keepsake memory and such a fun activity for a date! Will definitely come back again in the future when they have more.

This place is great for a little date or for that cute insta post. The staff was super nice and helpful. They explained the different booths before me and and my boyfriend went inside and gave some inspiration for some poses. On the weekend it does get busy and you may have to wait outside for a little. Luckily when I went it wasn't too bad. Everyone inside was having a great time. A little tip is to have poses planned out because all the photo booth process goes by so fast it's easy to feel a little flustered. Each booth has a description and what the photo strip will look like. Some strips come in 3 layout, some in 4 layout and one of the booths I went into gave 2 strips. I thought that was really cool that there were different kinds of booths. The booths accept card and tap pay which is so convenient. Most of the strips I got were $7.50 but I also got some for $6.50 depends on the booth. After you are done with your photos you can dry them with a blow dryer and put them in a cute envelope they provide! You can even pay to create your own keychain or get digital scans of your photos. Overall such a fun time and I definitely will come back with my gal pals!

I was lucky enough to attend the Club Photomatic's Photo Booth Museum grand opening 12/12/2024 at 2275 Market Street between Noe and Sanchez. Their normal open hours will be 11-7pm. They are constantly searching and fixing up these relics! There is only about 250 original machines left. It is possible to fix them and can give them a digital upgrade. But there is a difference when you take the photos. The analog versions takes longer to print because the photo process dips the image in different camera fluids inside the machine as it is developing the photo inside by itself to create the final strip photo. That is why when the final photo strip comes out of machine, it is still wet. I talked with one of the owners, Doug about the process. It is very fascinating. During this grand opening was mostly young people who never grew up with photo booths. I remember seeing these in old school movies. This is similar to those fortune teller machines where you put a coin or in this case, your credit card and you have 6 seconds to strike either 3-4 poses, so prepare yourself with your poses in advanced. Remember to let lose, be funny or serious and just have fun. Be creative like I did. Some of their machines are permanent in local businesses like Mission Bowling was the one I first noticed. Lovely venue it lives in. Great place for parties and bowling! It brings back nostalgia and makes you think wow, my grandparents or parents must had a great time with their experiences like I did when using this Photo Booth in person for first time! A hard copy picture in your hands just feels so much real that a digital photo which you can't touch or feel. Makes me think of happy times in a circus carnival where times were simpler. A picture is worth a thousands words. I was lucky enough to be able to make a keychain out of my two photos and using the picture hole puncher was fun! I never used one before. Photography seems like a fun hobby. There are still places where you can learn photography classes near the Castro area.

Cute little photobooth museum. I came in December and at the time there was only 2-3 working photobooths. There was a short line but nothing too crazy. There was a couple of booths that weren't in service. The owner said they were currently in the process of refurbishing the other photobooths so hopefully they'll be working soon. Pictures were $7 a strip, which I feel like is pretty standard. Good for a date! :)

We booked a Photomatica Photo Booth for our wedding and could not have been happier with everything from start to finish. We worked with Lisa to book our event and she was extremely responsive and helpful, even when we bombarded her with tons of questions and last minute changes. Lisa even scheduled a session for my husband and I to take photos after our wedding because we forgot to take photos together during the actual wedding reception! Seriously awesome customer service. The Photo Booth was a hit with our guests. There are unlimited photo strips and also free digital versions. It was better than the typical "Photo Booth" set ups you tend to see at events nowadays with just a backdrop and camera, and also more affordable! Set up and take down was extremely easy thanks to Lisa's coordination. Highly recommend for your event!

I actually found Jennifer after searching online for photographers in San Francisco and her work immediately stood out. Her style felt fresh and unconventional -- more documentary and journalistic than traditional -- and I especially loved her use of black and white photography, which was a big reason we chose her. The day started at our hotel, where she jumped between our separate rooms to capture my wife and me getting ready. Before she had even gotten to our rooms, she had already scouted the perfect location for our first look. The moment was absolutely incredible, and she handled everything; we didn't have to do a thing but follow her lead. That professional confidence continued at City Hall. She has a masterful familiarity with the building. She took full control of the shoot, guiding us as she told us exactly where to stand, how to pose, and where to move next so we could just relax and enjoy the moment. As a photographer myself, I really appreciated her confidence and professionalism. All we had to do was follow instructions and be present. She knows San Francisco City Hall inside and out -- the lighting, the angles, the timing, and the key locations that truly matter -- every shot felt deliberate and it showed. The technical skill here is top-notch-- the compositions were beautiful, the balance of each frame was spot-on, and her gorgeous color grading. We received around 300 images, and the quality is so consistent that I plan to print every last one of them in large format to ensure we have a permanent physical archive. When we received the final package, we were so touched -- she sent our photos on a beautiful USB drive along with printed images, some sweets, and other thoughtful details. It was the perfect finishing touch to a genuinely wonderful experience. If you're getting married at City Hall -- or anywhere in San Francisco -- Jennifer Michelson / A Girl and a Camera is exceptional. Thank you Jennifer! Laura and Junior.

He's very professional, friendly, quick to respond, and just amazing to work with overall. I had just started wedding planning when I ran into a friend who told me Augie was their photographer and shared his info. We had looked through a number of photographers, but Augie's work stood out to us through all of it--his photos truly captured the feeling of each moment, and we loved everything in his portfolio. When we reached out, he responded so quickly and answered all our questions right away. For our engagement shoot, it was my husband's first time doing a formal photoshoot. Augie came very prepared, offered great tips, and made us feel completely at ease. He was so easy to talk to and work with, and we genuinely had such a fun time with him! He was also flexible with timing and weather to make sure we could get the best lighting. We were blown away by his ability to notice something special in just a few seconds and turn it into a beautifully captured moment. For our wedding day, Augie was even more impressive. I had shared our (very full) itinerary with him ahead of time, and I was surprised to notice that he knew it by heart. When we started running behind, he gently but efficiently helped move things along. Even though it was his first time at our venue, he had an incredible eye for finding perfect spots, turning a simple fence into a magical backdrop. He worked seamlessly around the golfers at our venue, guiding us at the right times and capturing the sweetest in-between moments. He also accommodated all our specific requests, including photos with our sports car and dress details. We absolutely love our wedding photos and all the special moments he preserved. Overall, I can't stress enough how grateful we are for Augie and everything he captured during our engagement shoot and wedding day.
