This review is only for their event photography. Say Ya! Photobooth is one of the preferred vendors at the venue I used for a fundraiser. In booking the photography and also in general reviewing their quotes and getting questions answered, they are super responsive and usually respond within 24 hours (usually less). Alex is the event photographer. He is super nice and chill. He went around asking people if they wanted their pictures taken and if they wanted multiple takes. He was also readily available if someone wanted their picture taken at a certain location or during an activity. He is super professional and we really appreciated having him photograph the event. Photos are free to download for guests and you'll get a zip file to download if you are the planner or host. Overall, great experience with Say Ya Photobooth. Similar to the rest of the reviews, my husband and I could not be more pleased with Say Ya! We hired them entirely too late for our wedding in July of 2022, and even with the rushed job, they delivered work that was above and beyond what we expected. To start, when we initially inquired about the job, Ysabel was immediately responsive and helped us pick the right package for us. She was friendly and timely, which was appreciated given how busy her company was with other events. Throughout the planning process, Ysabel was able to create multiple custom signs for us, including cutouts of our dog. We weren't sure exactly what photos we wanted to feature at our wedding, so we sent Ysabel a handful of our favorites and asked her to pick the best ones. These cutouts were extremely durable, maintained the high resolution quality of the photos, and perfectly captured our dog. The signs were cut from wood, which was higher quality from anything we could get from Etsy, and Ysabel managed to cut the perfect shape around our dog, rather than just his face. At the event, Alex hosted our photobooth and he was so warm, accommodating, and professional. He brought a vibrant energy that made the photobooth more engaging for us and our guests. While we don't have another wedding to plan, my husband and I are already talking about other future events where we can work with Say Ya because we were so impressed. I recently hired Say Ya for my wedding in San Francisco. They were incredible from start to finish. They were responsive and very helpful answering all my questions throughout the booking process. As the wedding approached they proactively reached out to finalize branding. On the day-of they operated very independently. When we were shopping around and inquired with Say Ya about their photobooth options for our wedding in Pleasanton, Jenn responded quickly to let us know their availability for our wedding date, the different package options, and the questionnaire for our event details. Despite there being an error in the initial Service Agreement, Jenn worked with us to clarify and fix the issue before the deposit was paid. Then COVID hit. Ysabel was patient and kept our proposed days open until we were able to confirm our new wedding date. When discussing the design of our photo strips, she was able to use the exact fonts of our invites and wedding website for a cohesive look. She took our hashtag and design requests to provide multiple options on the first round of proofs. We only needed one additional proof to finalize our design. It's over a month after our wedding and our guests are still commenting and sharing their photobooth photos. They had so much fun and it was in great part to Kyle and Alex. They seemed to be having as much fun as the guests. They were SO helpful and encouraging. They ran back and forth between the photo station and the prop table making sure people had all the props they needed, often helping them change props for each photo. We had so many complements on what a great service people received at the photobooth. I was so glad I went with them after visiting another wedding a couple weeks later where the attendant just sat on the ground and played on his phone all night. Alex and Kyle were part of the entertainment and kept the line moving so it was never very long. From a practical standpoint, this is the most reasonably priced option out there. You get great service, beautiful backgrounds to choose from, unlimited print, incredibly speedy prints, good photo quality, an online album of all the photos posted the next day, and an awesome photo taking box. It had our logo on it! And so did the photo strip. It made it feel so personal. Say Ya Photobooth was recommended to my wife and I for our wedding this past October. We've both been to a number of weddings, birthday parties, trade shows, company holiday parties over the past few years and almost all of them have had a photobooth of some sort. Sometimes the photobooth is amateurish (lookin' at you cheapo holiday party photobooth which was really just an ipad mounted on a tripod). Sometimes the photobooth worker is an a$$hole (tell me again why I can't get a 2nd print of my photo when there's no one else in line). Sometimes the photobooth experience is great but my head gets cut off because the camera is too low (I didn't ask to be this tall). Fortunately, using Say Ya Photobooth for our wedding was nothing short of a fantastic experience! First off, let me say a big thank you to Alex & Ysabel (they're the husband and wife owners of SYP) They replied to my initial inquiry promptly, got to know us and our needs (including budgetary needs), were professional with the contract/paperwork, and most importantly they knew what they were doing, which allowed me to stress about the other aspects of our wedding. They were available for our vendor walkthrough at the Oakland Museum of CA (where we got married) and made up a day-of plan for loading in/out and everything else we needed right away. Say Ya absolutely nailed the nuts and bolts of what we requested of them (because they're pros) but it was the extra stuff that I hadn't thought about where they really shined. Need a custom photobooth backdrop produced to match the colors of your wedding? No Problem. Want your photobooth photos to be uploaded to social media for your friends to tag away? Easy. Want custom props to be made just for your event? Fuggedaboudit! They were all over it. The experience was totally customizable. The photobooth workers were incredibly friendly and helpful (especially with some of our older guests who aren't touch screen device savvy).
