What's included in the package is made unclear, so I never got what I expected. In addition, during the shoot he said that he could take my arm out if I had it on my kiddo and when I reminded him of this later, he said that was considered a complex edit and would cost money but they'd do it complmenetary that time. Had he told me this at the time of the shoot, we would have done something differently to get photos without me there in the background. Not cool.

Wish I would have been given this awesome 20% off the first haircut but I didn't know about it. When I left, my hair looked nice. But just an hour later and I can see all those awesome layers that I just don't want. And there's nothing I can do but either cut it way shorter or just look at it every day until t grows out. We called her and left a voicemail expressing interest to which she replied back a week later via e-mail and did not even mention our call or her delay in response time. In the rest of our correspondence, her responses were rude and short. It felt like she either did not want to work with us, wasn't interested in working with us, or both. We are extremely disappointed because we wanted to work with Marena, despite the $700 starting price tag. We would not recommend even trying to book with Marena and instead finding a photographer who actually is excited to work with you.
