But anyway, someone had jammed a memory card into the Nikon SLR and broke it. No amount of YouTubing could fix it. I was told about Authorized Photo Service in Morton Grove. It is pricey to fix, but this location is local, instead of sending it to a faraway place. I picked it up after a few weeks and it was clean, nicely packed. Hopefully magical photos will develop (do you see what I did there?)

Needless to say that the lens was not fixed in time until I was literally flying back from my trip. I had only used the lens 2 times after that and immediately my camera gave me an error 01 lens communication. I took it to my regular repair guy and spend more money to get it fixed properly. According to him this placed did not use the correct part. Too expensive here and incredibly disappointed, wish I could get my money back.
