This review will primarily focus on the "broker" I've been communicating with. I'll refer to this broker as "BA". Like most MLMs (Multilevel marketing), it started with a random add on Facebook from BA. I already knew BA was going to pitch me some life insurance. I made it obvious that I wasn't interested. Yet he pursued. Eventually BA stopped but, let me tell you about this person's Facebook. BA would post nonsense motivational quotes, and give financial advice. BA would lure people who have no financial knowledge, and pitch them life insurance. So I began asking questions. He wasn't used to someone questioning his business model, so he called me a troll and terrorist. A simple question of who does BA work for kept being ignored. Eventually he messages me directly again, and asks what exactly am I implying or trying to ask. I basically inform him that I'm aware that PHP is an MLM and that BA adds random people (primarily minorities) and scams them. I attached a small snippet of what his response was. BA claims this organization has partnered with billion dollar companies, but I have failed to see any proof of this. And no, what they have on their own website does not count. I also want to note that BA stated that math taught in classes, is useless. Using the formula y=Mx+b as an example. Now, I don't want to get all technical here, but THAT formula and a lot of math taught to us, is the basic foundation to financing. How can you trust a person with finances and doesn't know or use this formula? I get that a lot of us won't use this math in the real world. However, if you're working in finances, I would expect some level of math skills. You also know it's an MLM if they have to "text" or "DM" you information. Wouldn't it just be easier to provide information publicly? It's because what these "brokers" do is provide misleading information, and trick you to spending money. Another MLM pyramid scheme. I am also very aware that this isn't an illegal pyramid scheme since they're selling products but I will still call it what it is because the product is only a cover. The real money is in recruiting people which is what makes it a scam. Steer Clear from this and others that are prowling during the pandemic. I had someone on bumble biz contact me about this and at first I was interested when we talked on the phone when I thought it was just selling life insurance. I just left my job and currently doing gigs as I work on my business and thought this would be good for me for more income. The guy wanted to get me on Zoom with his wife, I won't say any names. I guess he thought that his wife would get me hooked in since she's another woman but she was the one who gave me redflags the most. I started asking questions and she couldn't tell me what the typical day would be like, she kept saying we have to get you licensed. I was asking a simple question, I ask this with every interview because I want to get a visual of what my day would look like. I also want something flexible considering I am working on my own business and that is my #1 priority. It's like she kept being vague about a simple question. Then I asked about the marketing and getting clients, they were very vague saying we will teach you all of that but would not go into details. The guy showed me how much money they made in a month which was like $30k a month and promised that I will be making 6 figures in 4 months and that just did not seem realistic to me. Then his wife told me I would have to pay $199 that night to get started AND eventually pay the money to get licensed which is what you have to get to start making money. I told them I will research first but when I got off the call with them it just did not feel right. I went to BBB read the reviews and it confirmed what I already knew once I got off the phone. It is a pyramid scheme. The only reason why it is legal is that they have a product to sell but the product is not the main priority, it's only a cover so they don't get shut down. The main priority is recruiting. Anytime the product or service of a company is not a priority it is a red flag. They only make money recruiting which is only the people on top. Beware! For a "trillion dollar company" according to one of the "top agents" Bruno Castillo giving someone a refund of $200 sure seems like a lot. Me and my boyfriend went to the PHP office to talk to Bruno Castillo about some opportunities they had for us to work there. After what was suppose to be a 30 minute talk for more info about the company, with out not really thinking things through and knowing a lot I signed up to become an agent and paid a $199 agent code charge on the spot. Later on the next day after I really got the chance to think about what I was getting myself into I decided I did not want to become an agent anymore just for my best interest. Before my second appointment with Bruno Castillo I decided to give him a call and tell him my thoughts on no longer wanting to be a part of the company. I was on the phone with him for almost 25 min listening to him tell me how I am basically not going to be successful in life if I don't do this and I will never be able to help my parents or learn about money, he was making me feel really bad and kept going on and trying to talk me into having a 3 way call with my mom and him to tell her how this opportunity would benefit me a lot, since she was also one of the reasons I decided not to work there. He kelp going and going and telling me how the job I have currently is not going to get me anywhere and neither is my future career in nursing . After telling him several times I was not at all interested he just hung up on me. I tried to call him back several times and the calls went straight to voice mail until i got a text from him saying "I got things to do have an appointment". For him to hang up and tell me to make an appointment after he kept me on the phone with him for 25 min was very rude and unprofessional of him. I decided to immediately go to the office myself to ask for a refund In person since he was no longer answering any of my calls and before getting into the office I received a call from his mentor who's name I forgot but he basically told me the same thing Bruno did and once again hung up like him. I went up to the office and they both called me into their office and spoke to me and my boyfriend in how we are making a bad decision and we will never learn about money or be successful so I once again told them I was not interested and just wanted a refund. I did eventually receive my money back a week later but to go through all that just to get my money back was so rude. I really hope people that this company pulls in to try to work for them really think about what they are getting them selfs into and what fake and unprofessional people they will be working and dealing with. I was at the brink of falling for their compassionate yet motivation oriented scheme. I should have known is was sketchy when their agent connected with me via Instagram. They invited me to an orientation where they had all their agents and top brokers there. We engaged in a uplifting activity amongst other workers. I sat through a long orientation explaining what they do. They want you to bring in people and start a chain. The more people in your team the more money you make so they say. I was asked to pay $200 for my brokers license in order to start working immediately. Any company in my opinion should invest in their workers. Especially one that is doing extremely successful which is what they made it seem like. After coming to the reviews and seeing pyramid scheme everywhere it all made sense to me. The people in the Encino office are supper sweet and nice, but I wasn't sure if it was all fake, for my safety I choose to withdraw from working any further with them.
