Everybody is kind, hard working and really caring. My main therapist is Evan. Evan has pushed me and challenged me, in the best possible way. I have been going to North Valley Physical Therapy since the first knee. Due to my many surgeries l have been to many physical therapy centers throughout the years. The other places were ok. They got the job done. But here at North Valley Physical Therapy, they have been so amazing! They go so far above and beyond any other place in my experience! The owner, Karla Kazimir, is very hands on! Her staff is very compassionate and patient making it their goal to get you up and moving with such dedication and skill! She's efficient, kind, and always on top of scheduling, insurance, and any questions I had. Her professionalism made a big difference during a long course of treatment. I'm especially grateful to Corey and Ashley for helping me get back to a better place physically. My herniated disc and sciatica have improved a lot, and I learned exercises and habits I'll continue using. That said, I do recommend requesting one of the female therapists if you can. I found them to be warmer and more engaged, while some of the male therapists weren't as friendly or welcoming when I came in multiple times a week. It was really off-putting when I would come in and make eye contact with some of the male therapists and they would not even say hello, they acted very arrogant and would it hurt to say a simple hello or a nod. A couple of downsides: the facility feels a bit outdated, and cleanliness could be better some chairs, therapy beds, and floor area were dusty. I would be on the carpet and I could see all the dust it was really gross. They need to do better! I also wish the therapists spent more than about 15 minutes with patients before handing off to aides, who didn't always seem fully confident with the exercises. Even with those concerns, I'm thankful for the progress I made here and for the staff who genuinely cared about my recovery.

When I called 2 weeks ago I hoped to solidify payment, insurance, I obtained all of my records. I did her part as well. I have elected not to return as I get into pain with Darlene's rudeness and antics of promised phone calls never returned and being at 73, told off over the phone. Its a shame as if its happening to me, its happening to others. A definately stressful environment. I was just bringing all of my records today? I do not feel anyone should be medically treated with a preexisting severe injury, before notes are read and x rays viewed. Yet I have been there twice and the6 had to ask me all of the body parts broken/injured. All happens for a reason.

I couldn't have picked a better facility to rehab my knee! No doubt it's a busy location, but I never waited more than 5 minutes for the call to start the session. It's a friendly, professional environment, one that's conducive to social interaction with the aides who set up the exercise routines at every visit (Mark, 'D', Gabriel, Jonathan, Gabby, Lindsay, David and Chance) and the PT assistants (Mike and Justin) who helped me take my mind off the 'discomfort' associated with the stretching and massaging to break up scar tissue to insure a successful outcome to all the hard work. Gene, the head physical therapist, guided me through the steps at the clinic and especially at home to set me on the path to resume the physical activities I'd been doing prior to the surgery.
