I am writing this review to share my experience with Berger Hospital, but please know that I am not…read moreone to speak negatively about anyone. However, I feel the need to share my story to warn others and hopefully prevent this from happening to anyone else. I went to Berger Hospital for a routine epidural, and unfortunately, things took a turn for the worst. I was suddenly being life-flighted to Columbus, fighting for my life. The next thing I knew, I had two poles and 14 screws holding my head up, and I was left in excruciating pain. Before this incident, I was a healthy 48-year-old man with a torn rotator cuff. But now, I walk with a cane and struggle with pain every day. I had to go through 20 weeks of physical therapy and lost my dream job because of what happened. Thankfully, my doctors in Columbus were able to save my life, but the whole experience was traumatic for me and my family. To add insult to injury, the doctor who performed the procedure came to Columbus to check on me and was acting oddly, according to my family. I didn't wake up for days, and he was let go from his job a few weeks later. I gave Berger Hospital two years to make things right, but unfortunately, nothing has been done. I cannot in good conscience recommend this hospital to anyone. I hope that my experience will serve as a warning to others to be careful and do their research before choosing a hospital or doctor. The copay they charge is very affordable. They are truly a blessing I have been going there for a few years. I would recommend them to anyone looking for excellent at a very affordable price. They charge you an arm and leg for these procedures and won't even give you the results and give you the run around. When a parent is scared that somethings wrong it shouldn't take a month to get the results when the hospital continuously sends the results to the Dr and they just continue to say they didn't get them. The drs do not update the files with what was discussed during the visit. So nothing is ever done.
