Told me they would be able to drain an abscess, when I actually got to the doctor she said she doesn't feel comfortable doing that. Wont refund me 60$ copay, called office multiple times and now no one answers me after I asked about getting a refund. Had to go to a different walk in clinic to get that done. Dont go here, they'll waste your time and lie about what they can or can't do. Edit - saw an email that they replied to the google reviews post and now it's been deleted I also see they charged my insurance company 693$ for a 15 minute visit where the doctor did nothing but write an antibiotic after the lady at the front said they could relieve an abscess. When I tried to actually call them and talk to somebody all I got was an answering service in India with a robotic soulless representative that couldn't do anything and wouldn't say anything of substance. I've been to physicians care walk in quite a few times over the years but I'm not going to be returning after this. I guess 60$ is worth more than continued business. read more

Everytime I feel sick or have any Heath issues I always come here!! They treat me respectfully and the doctors are very friendly and genuinely concerned for me and want to help me every time I come in!!! I went in today for an ear infection and didn't have to wait very long to see the doctor and I got antibiotics and a ear drops prescription to help it go away,I'm already home and relaxing and have took my medicine and put in ear drops and I'm already starting to feel a little better. I would recommend anyone to come here, fast service and great doctors that care about you're health, thank you physicians urgent care on Highway 58 for being a reliable and wonderful place to come when I'm sick and need to feel better!! read more

I have been there twice in past two weeks and still have the same symptoms I went in for the first time. I told them I had just recovered from C-diff and they still prescribed me a medication that the company who makes the medication put a clear warning not to prescribe to patients who have recently had c-diff. I have been back to at least try and get them to change my medication and an x-ray. They only thing they did was provide an x-ray. I will be looking into hiring an attorney and contacting the state. I have already notified my insurance company. If you valvue your life avoid them at all cost! read more

I can't believe this location has never been reviewed. I don't come here often but it is very convenient when you live in the area. The facility is clean and the workers are always nice. It's usually not crowded later in the afternoon. I recommend this place if you need to be seen quickly and are on a budget. read more

I was billed for services because they wasn't competent enough to file on my HSA correctly.... even though the same location had previously used my HSA. I paid for the service and was advised it would be refunded once my HSA paid. Silly me assumed this would be handled in a reasonable timeframe. HSA has long since paid for my visit and I'm now being advised it may take 90 days to refund my money. In 2017 that is unacceptable and very poor customer service. I suspect this is quite the revenue generator for them considering the amount of other people's money they are getting to sit on / hold hostage..... interest free. I feel I have gotten the run around from their billing staff. As of right now I still haven't gotten the refund. My household has used their services several times, this will be the last, I don't use businesses that are ok with unethical business practices. read more

I took my sister to Physician's Care on Highway 58 in Chattanooga on June 23, 2019 for a possible UTI. When we got there, she completed new insurance forms since it had been over a year since her last visit. I noticed one of the new forms stated she would have to put a credit card on file, and in the event her insurance did not pay, she would be charged up to $300 on that card. I returned her paperwork to the receptionist, and inquired about the credit card on file form. She very rudely advised that it was a new "policy" of Physician's Care, and that if insurance doesn't pay, the card would be charged. I advised her that my sister had original Medicare Parts A and B, and also the Medicare Supplement Part F, which pays everything that original Medicare does not, including deductibles and coinsurance. At that point, she very rudely informed me that my sister does have a deductible of $1300, and asked if I would like to see her computer screen showing same. I declined to look at her screen, because I knew what she was looking at. She was on the Medicare website and didn't look at the Part F Medicare Supplement website at all. I attempted to explain again to her that my sister's deductible and other charges would be paid by the Part F supplement, but she arrogantly informed me that this was a new policy of Physician's Care and that her card would be charged if insurance didn't pay. I then inquired how long do they wait before charging the credit cards, and she advised two weeks. Two weeks for Medicare and Medicare supplements to pay is ridiculous. I'm sure you know that they take longer than that to pay, but pay they do. Part F supplement to Medicare does pay everything that original Medicare does not. You see, I was a Benefits Specialist for the government for 30+ years, and I know how Medicare and Medigap policies work. Part F Medigap Supplement is the best supplement available through Medicare at present. It's also very expensive, and goes up on the premium annually, according to age. At that point, my sister and I declined to see a nurse practitioner at Physician's Care on Highway 58. We left and went to the CHI Convenient Care at the Memorial Atrium off Gunbarrel Road. We completed forms there, and they gladly saw my sister. The receptionist advised that they do not ask for credit cards to be on file for anyone. She also said that my sister had the best Medicare Supplement available and that what original Medicare Part B didn't pay, the Part F Supplement would, including her deductible. It was very refreshing to be treated in a kind manner and by someone who knew about Medicare coverage. In conclusion, I assure you that if you continue this new "policy" with seniors who have original Medicare A & B, and Part F Supplement, you will lose their business. They know what Part F pays for as a supplement, and that's why they pay the higher premium for it that goes up annually according to age. What you need to do is have a receptionist that is customer oriented and knows about insurance coverage for seniors (Medicare and Medicare Supplements); especially Part F. I've been to this Physician's Care office many times, along with my sister, and was glad to have it on Highway 58. However, I nor my sister will be returning in the foreseeable future because of your new "policy" of having to put a credit card on file to be charged up to $300 after two weeks if insurance doesn't pay. Between this new "policy" and the rudeness and arrogant nature of the receptionist that was there on June 23rd, I had heard enough. Be careful Physician's Care. Chattanooga has many urgent care clinics, as you know. The way my sister and I were treated that day by your receptionist was atrocious and inexcusable. Terrible, terrible attitude to have while dealing with sick patients. read more
