I came in by ambulance because of an acute attack of diverticulitis by ambulance. No rooms were available so I was placed on a very comfortable gurney in the hall. The entrance is about 100/150 feet away and today it is 53 degrees. Whenever that door opens a rush of very cold air comes in and adds to an already cold hallway. If they need to put people in the hall don't do it on the entrance path. I was in the hallway approximately 3 hours but my nurse made sure I had a blanket. The CAT scan tech was great too. My suggestion is add on more rooms this is Florida where we old people go to die but not by pneumonia.

Seven days later, I left intensive care -- much healthier and on dialysis. One of the three doctors responsible for saving my life recommended the Florida Dialysis Center of Celebration for continuing treatment. Leary that any dialysis center could equal my excellent hospital care, I accepted the recommendation, and five weeks ago, I showed up in the Florida Dialysis Center's lobby. The next door I walked through made me feel like a kid walking into Willy Wonka's chocolate factory! I walked into a beautiful, bright, clean, neat, quiet, high-tech, massive room with twelve recliner chairs, a personal TV at every station, a lab, a control center, and wooden floors that I wish were in my own home. While taking all this in, I found more! The doctors, nurses, and staff are almost beyond measure -- highly-qualified, dedicated, super-friendly, and truly caring about my wellbeing. I felt that I was inside a five-star hotel where my known and unknown needs -- from nutrition counseling to doctor consultations and dialysis medicines to a myriad of amenities -- are all met right at my massage chair. Thank you to everyone who helped restore me to that place where I am now, including Dr. Amr El Toukhy, Dr. Anil Navani, Danielle, Yvette, Santana, Frances, Sammy, JoJo, Roshni, Yumi, Rose, Brenda, and Mary (and the rest of the group, whose names I have yet to memorize). They have a coordinator tat helped me get everything scheduled and to go over insurance and financial questions. The staff in office is professional, friendly, and seem to follow hygiene protocols needed for the type of medical services I need. There are approximately 20 seats to accommodate patients, which are clean and relatively comfortable. Each seat has a television and remote similar to what ypu see in hospitals. So far so good and I'll continue to use their services as needed!

He answered my questions completely, and assured me that no surgery was needed at this time since I had been following Dr. Mata's regimen for the past year. He recommended that I continue doing what I'd been doing to avoid surgery in the future. I'll see him again in January 2024. Lately I had been going to the Clermont location because of availability. The only place to new address was listed was in a text message reminding me of the appointment and I missed it. On the website they still have the old address listed but they were easy to find because they are in the same complex. I inform them of the error and hopefully they will fix it soon. As for seeing the doctor I have been very happy with the service I have received from the doctor himself and all the support staff. I met someone new working the front counter on my visit who answered the phone when I called in the morning to make sure that I was having an in-person appointment and not telemedicine. She was very helpful answering phones while also working the front counter and handling patients on the way out. Everything moved very smoothly and it was the busiest I have seen one of their offices on any visit. My doctor has always listened to what I had to say and explain things very efficiently for my treatments.
