Reported the injury to my job, and after persistent symptoms, they sent me here. Had to go the next day because they were at capacity, that's fine. I arrived here this morning. Told the nurse my symptoms, waited for the first doctor. The first doctor wasn't versed in orthopedics and I had to wait longer for the second. I started with the initial cramp I had that made me concerned enough to report it in the first place. I didn't even get a chance to mention the general arm pain before he interrupted me saying "that's a cramp. you're probably dehydrated" and made me take a urine test. Had to wait longer after that. He told me my urine was normal, it was just a Charlie horse and it's not even related to my work (despite me constantly working lifting objects and using my hands a lot at least 5 hours a day). He told me this is a concern for my Primary Care doctor and not him and sent me on my way. He even made a joke about how I "missed" them from a previous claim where I had a second degree burn, saying that I "missed" them. I just felt stupid for even coming there. But I guess if my job lists this place as the only option for work comp related injuries, it makes sense that they choose dismissive doctors so employees can just get back to work. Ridiculous.
