Anywayyyyy, so they are practicing social distancing in the waiting room. Some chairs are turned around and your temperature is taken at the door. Masks are required. I filled out some paperwork on a tablet (I know, Fancy, huh) and then I was called back to the back. The lady who helped me was very helpful and super sweet to me. She talked me through the process, which helped me relax a bit. It actually wasn't as bad as I've heard. I will keep returning to this location for my mammograms in the future.

She whizzed through ultrasound in 5 minutes (Normally take 20 -40 minutes) clicking pictures as she was still moving wand. Having trouble moving wand because she put minimal gel. I have US-abd done every 6 mos. Due to Non-alcoholic related cirrhosis. Looking for HCC, any changes to organs stress by cirrhosis, any change from compensated to Decompensated and I was extremely disappointed in her lack of understanding and quality of the job she was doing. The images were very poor quality at best. Makes me very sad because Normally this is not the case. One bad apple can leave a long lasting bad taste for the future. ​

When I moved back to Orangeburg, it was due to my mom and sister diagnosed with breast cancer. I…read morewas informed by my doctor to have a mammogram twice a year due to family history. I was referred to Clermont in Orangeburg; the radiologists were always friendly and professional. The receptionists were not. When I went in 2020, it was unpleasant. It is always complicated and horrible because the insurance company tells me one thing and Clermont wants to charge an exuberant fee. Due to my having a lump which concerned me, they finally let me have the procedure. I called the insurance company afterwards and they informed me due to my situation, I would not have to pay. I went back on 8/29th, and the experience was awful. First, the receptionist did not speak, smile, or anything. Second, she told me I had a balance, and I should not have. Third, my Dr. ordered it due to my situation. And finally, she rudely informed me that I had to pay $291. 91. What kind of deductible is that? Three days prior, I learned another immediate family member had breast cancer. This heightens my fears. She offered no options; appeared cold, callous and uncaring. She told me either pay the almost $300 or reschedule. I asked if mammograms were offered anywhere else and she nastily replied, "The hospital but they cost more" I will NOT return even if I get the money. I don't trust them at this point and I do not want to give these people my business. I informed the main office in Florida and the person I spoke with was supposed to talk to the director and call me back the next day. Early detection is critical; yet it saddens me that Clermont Radiology is oblivious to that, especially the Orangeburg Office. I will research other places to have the mammogram done even if I have to go out of town. I don't recommend Clermont Radiology in Orangeburg to anyone. Now I have used them in Florida and had a pleasant experience. As a matter of fact, since it is a routine test for women my age, I don't ever recall paying a deductible anywhere and this was before breast cancer was in my family lineage. Go figure.

He felt my skin and he said that it was like a sunburn and to put some ice on it. Well I have a burn mark on my skin and I do not feel good about it. I had read that an MRI burn may cause other injuries to the body also. I will be looking into other things. Please be careful when you go to any facility and ask them about your chances for a MRI machine burn.

This imaging center is charging out patient hospital cost. It's located in a professional building…read morenot a hospital, however, they bill as if you went to a hospital and had an image performed; the costs are "emergency room" high. Beware if you are assigned to this group to have any imaging this includes x-rays performed. Check with your insurance company before having service performed at this location.

I am not happy at all with the response of Palmetto Imaging West Columbia. I was originally…read morescheduled for the Irmo office and switched to West Columbia. I had a STAT CT scan ordered on Wednesday and as of at 3pm on Friday the test was not read by the radiologist. I had to call and ask why I did not received a notice of the results. I called the office and was told "Oh I'm not sure why it has not been read yet." I was told on Wednesday the test was STAT! I left a message for what I thought was the office manager on Friday and its currently Monday 1:54pm and I have not heard anything from her. I call today (Monday) and left another message over an hour ago and still no one has called me back and the ordering physician has not received the results yet! this is HORRIBLE SERVICE. I am concerned about several medical issues I have going on and this location has no concern at all. The only person that really showed any care at all was Destiny when i spoke with her on Friday after Mike did not send my results like he said he would before he left for the day. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION EVERY AGAIN! If your health concerns are minor this location is for you. If you have issues that are concerning to you please consider my experience!

My wife and I have been under his care for several years and could not imagine our lives without him. Our health is greatly improved not only through his regular treatments, but also in the supplements we take. I was standing in front of the check in window as the check in lady told me she will be with me. She was browsing to some of her desk paper works. I patiently waited until after 4 minutes she asked my name to check me in. She told me she will reschedule my appointment as I was 10 mins late. I POINTED HER THE COMPUTER SCREEN BEHIND HER AND ON THE SCREEN 7:09 AM. he did not check me in when I came to her. she went and spoked with the doctor twice and came back asking paper works that no instructions or nothing mentioned when they called me in for my appointment. No emails, no mails for any paper works. Dr Daniel Miller came out and swinging his hands in the air looked at me and said " i will work you in but you have to wait as im still trying to start my computer " he pointed his fingers to me and said fill out those Paperworks. I was humiliated as a person and a professional, disrespected from the staff and from the podiatrist did not treat me right, lied about their service and trying to rescheduled me due to the fact they were not the one not ready to see patients as other staffs still walking in, lobby lights still off. Lights by the receptionist desks are on. I decided to leave as II will not put my health under the hands of people who will talk down to their clients.
