I've been very sick for a few days now and already knew I didn't have COVID bc I took an at home test. I got a strep test taken here, came back negative. I figured I would receive a steroid shot or a B-12 shot or something like that, they said they don't give shots. I was basically given a few prescriptions, and was on my way (after being there for an hour and I was the only person). I would give this place 1 start but the nurse was very kind. You have to make an appointment for that and a lot of people don't know this. I had previously visited this nice, new, clean, and spacious facility for Covid and flu shots and the like. Anyway, I was dying from days and days of useless OTC cough medicine. It was about 5 pm on a Wednesday and fortunately they close at 8pm. Unfortunately they are also known to easily book up to capacity with walk-ins. I called first to check if they still had walk-in availability, and as there "were no system notifications", the implied answer was yes. In the 10 minutes it took me to drive there, the last walk-in spot for the day was just taken, ugh, but fortunately, and news to me, they now have video visits available for simple cases like mine. The receptionist asked if I would like to try a video visit, and I more or less said hell yeah! After maybe a 10 minute wait, I was interviewed by a nurse practitioner located in WI and she was helped by a medical assistant at my side to do breathing tests, ear health checks, etc. After the examination and questions, the NP prescribed a stronger cough med, and things have improved since. This was a great and effective visit, good use of resources, and just what I needed at the time. Thank you!

First, during our initial visit, we were not seen at all because we were told we needed to arrive 15 minutes early for registration -- something that was never clearly communicated in advance. Then today, while we were already on our way to the clinic, we suddenly received a text message saying our appointment was canceled, claiming they couldn't reach us by phone. This raises a serious question: where does it say that I must be available by phone to confirm an appointment that was scheduled 2 months in advance? Patients plan their schedules, arrange transportation, and make time -- only for the clinic to cancel last minute. This is completely unprofessional. I do not recommend this clinic to anyone who values their time and expects basic customer service.

My original PCP left the organization therefore I had to select a new one. I've seen the new one 3…read moretimes and had to wait for an hour minimum after my appointment time before I was seen. The staff state that this PCP talks quite a bit and is known for running late in all of his appointments and acted as if this was acceptable practice. I came to see my OB and and my appointment time was 2:30. The app said 2:15 arrival time for check-in. I checked in online and arrived before 2:30. I was told they needed to see if I could be seen because I need to be here at 2:15. I asked why if I was already checked in and my appointment was 2:30. The receptionist ignored that, told me to have a seat. Then someone walks out and tells the receptionist to tell me they'll see me but now I need to wait. It is utterly ridiculous that I showed up on time, already checked in but need to wait until the feel they can see me. Especially when their own practitioners run over an hour behind and you're expected to wait.

They do have a screen showing your place in line and the online app gives you this, too. Receptionist was excellent. Nurse was good except she did some tests that seemed completely unrelated to Dr Rod had excellent interpersonal skills/bedside manner. I actually got seen 22 minutes earlier than the original projection. I drove a mile past NCH immediate care to get here because of its bad reviews and I am so glad I drove the extra mile! Exam rooms are very clean, look new too. Plenty of space and extra seats for parents that bring kids.
