Online scheduling. Used my insurance for most. The work physical was out of pocket but really affordable- and thorough!! I think I paid like $130 for that. I've seen both a PA and a nurse practitioner and both were fantastic. Clean space. They had all the necessary supplies. On schedule. It's been great. I just returned today to get my big kid vaccinated before a trip and I'm so grateful for this service! Thank you!!!

I've been to another location on Clybourn and they were much more professional! The front desk girl at this Bucktown location had a terrible attitude even though I was just calling to ask questions about my titer results. So here's what went down. I paid FULL Price to have ALL MY TITERS checked and they even drew an extra tube of blood to "make sure" it would be enough. Yet the lab had some kind of "processing issue" with the varicella titer. They NEVER called to tell me that. It wasn't until I called to request my results 2.5 weeks later and I ASKED if I had a suffice sample for all my titers to be checked. The person I spoke with told me to come back in for free to redraw blood since it was THEIR MISTAKE. When I called again prior to walking in I mention this, and the RUDE front desk girl says "i dont know what to tell you, we will have to charge you again"... I asked to speak with the manager, she said she'd leave my number and I'd receive a call back and I NEVER did. I have never written an angry review but this place had me livid. I HIGHLY SUGGEST using (Jason Health) a cheap out of pocket alternative where you can get doctors orders, if all you need is bloodwork done and go to Quest diagnostics. You can bring any of your clinical needs to Unilab and you'll get fast, efficient results done by dedicated staff. You don't even need a doctor's prescription to get tests done here...just come into the office with any recommended doctor's tests. Here's a quick summary: 1. You visit your doctor and he/she recommends that you get x, y, z lab tests done OR you yourself just want to get your own tests done out of curiosity like get your cholesterol levels checked or a CBC done. 2. Come in with your lab recommendations, and the friendly, licensed phlebotomists will do a blood test for you right there at the lab. 3. Test results are sent to you via email within 24-72 hours, depending on what the tests are. The office is a bit tucked away and hard to find the first time...park at a meter anywhere you can near the corner of Austin & Lake, and walk to the door that's directly across from Church's (try your best to ignore that tempting and at the same time disgusting smell of grease) and next door to Unity drugstore.

However, when I called on Monday the man who answered was extremely rude when I asked what the hold up was. If the labs weren't ready that is understandable but he could have easily owned up to the fact and apologized, instead he yelled at me and proceeded to hang up on me, all without allowing me to get a word in otherwise. Honestly, if I hadn't had this unfortunate exchange with this man I would've given them 4 stars and moved on but you can't be in a business like this not have basic customer service skills and phone manners.
