Staff were very nice and helpful, and PA did a thorough assessment of my symptoms. I would recommend booking a time slot in advance and filling out the forms ahead of time though. This immediate care is a joke, yes the staff were nice, but the wait time compare to other hospitals. We arrive at 1pm and we waited there until 8:30pm until we decided to leave because that's over 8 hours for my family to sit and wait. Plus they where letting some people who where before us go in, which is very upsetting. After injuring my wrist, I walked in to Physician Immediate Care to get it checked out. Before arriving, I checked out the website, which noted that the estimated wait time was about 35 minutes. There is an option to sign up for an appointment, but there weren't any openings until the afternoon, so I decided to walk in around 11:00. My wait time exceeded the 35 minute estimate on the website, but I brought a book with me so the wait wasn't so bad. After about 50 minutes, I was called back by Kiki, the medical assistant. She was so friendly and put me at ease. She showed me to a room, which was sparkling clean. I waited about another 30 minutes before seeing Danny, one of the PAs. He was very apologetic for the wait and listened to my concerns. He was able to provide a quick diagnosis, but consulted with his colleague to confirm. Jessica, the other PA, came in and asked some follow up questions before confirming what Danny had said. I appreciate their thoroughness. Danny set me up with a wrist brace and called in a prescription to my local pharmacy. I was on my way in less than 2 hours. I appreciate the compassionate, comprehensive care that I received here. I won't hesitate to come back again, but hopefully I won't need to for a while! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. On site service is poor, they charge you for expensive, unnecessary tests, and billing/follow up is totally opaque and a run-around. After a visit for a relatively straightforward situation, I was billed $1700 for a variety of tests; one of the eight tests was almost $700 and was unnecessary. It was not disclosed that the test would be so expensive. I never received an itemized bill, and had to make a visit to the clinic again and call three different times: First I was given a phone number that took me into a spiraling automated system. Then I was directed to a website to look up my account; there's no actual log in to see your bill, just to PAY for your bill. Finally I was sent an itemized bill that is so coded it is barely comprehensible. While in the clinic, I was asked to get into the paper robe and then I waited for 20 minutes. These people are criminals. I was in so much pain when I came here and I trusted the doctor to help me. The medicine they prescribed didn't even work and I ended up having to go to a didn't doctor anyway. Months later I get a bill in the mail for a total of $1338.16. I had a UTI, nothing crazy. But they managed to run every test they possibly could to charge me as much as they could. They ran some test that cost $684.32. What could that have possibly been?? I'm absolutely furious. Visited the Clybourn site on 3-8-25. Received a bill the other day ( 3 months later) for full amount despite me having insurance. They never put a claim through to my insurance! The desk staffer, Kiera, was extremely rude and it shocks me that she is health care administration. Besides her attitude with me, which I can ignore, she got pretty snarky with a women who had a sick infant, telling them that they can't be in the waiting area and that she didn't have any mask for the child. The child cough and she continued to make faces and I'm sure the mother was uncomfortable but just dealt with it in hopes of getting meds for her child. Another guy was having trouble uploading his insurance card, and she told him to just figure it out and there was nothing she would do. I don't make reviews often, but in this case I was pretty shocked she worked there. I believe her attitude was in light of the waiting room not being empty, which I'm sure she prefers so she can sit on her phone and collect her check. I went to the West Loop location on December 31, 2024. The PA was thorough and after reviewing my chest x-ray diagnosed me with pneumonia. I needed antibiotics. However, the radiologist overruled him and said it was a flare up of COPD. I was given a breathing treatment and sent home. After seeing my PCP on January 7, 2024, I was diagnosed with RSV and bronchitis. A week without care and antibiotics made me worse. Whoever this absent radiologist is, he should not be practicing medicine. Now I am sicker than I was when I went there. Skip this place at all costs. read more

Would love to give a zero. Nurse taking vitals had no bedside manner. Came off as generally rude/uninterested. I didn't see a physician. I was seen by physicians assistant named Branden. They swabbed me for a rapid COVID & flu test. Both were negative. Mind you I had a ton of symptoms and 103 degree fever for 5 days straight. No further testing completed and was told to return in 3 days if fever persisted. The next day I went to a Northwestern Immediate Care for a second opinion. They immediately took chest X-rays and I'm positive for pneumonia. How these people didn't think to test for that is beyond me. Will never return. Awful service, awful job. I called Physician and they agreed to return the money to my card in 24-48 hours, but 3 days passed and they refund me nothing. Is it running a hospital or a crime facility? What if I never called? The service sucks. I came for a reading. It was 1 person in the lobby and I seen at least 5 employees. I got here at 12:30pm. They seen me at 12:50 for my reading. I needed an X-ray and I'm still waiting and it's 1:41pm. So they come in and say it will be another 10-15 minutes. Why?????? too many workers doing nothing. Their system for covid testing is horrible. They don't open till 8 and got here at 6am to be one of the first people seen. Even as one of the first ten people they said I won't be done till 1030. Everything is done inside which is a horrible safety protocol. As well as let people cut the line. HOWEVER, the actual nurses and PA-Cs are truly wonderful. Dr. Patel worked me up for flu, tested positive, and wrote me a prescription and work note. Was in and out in under an hour. This place is amazing! Truly such a positive urgent care experience- which is hard to find in the city. I showed up as a walk-in on a Saturday morning and was treated right away. Everyone was professional, kind and very attentive. I honestly was in so much pain, and left feeling immediately better after leaving the office and almost 100% within 24 hours! Stay away, stay away, stay away... I had been a customer of Physicians Immediate Care for 5 years and because of this clinic, I will never ever do any business with them. After trying to get a hold of this clinic through the call center 4 times and failing(because they never let patients call their clinics directly) I went to the clinic in person and the front desk worker did not know how to speak with a customer. She was very dismissive, disrespectful and condescending with me as if she was talking with a little kid. When I warned her that she should not speak to me that way, like one of the other reviews here says, she snidely told me to have a happy holiday(!). I have called the call center and sent emails about this incident and no one has reached back out or acknowledged my complaint. Arrived early for my appointment as instruction. Waiting over an hour after my appointment time to be seen. When I asked, I was told "Your appointment time gives you a place in line above a walk in. We only have 1 physician and 1 tech so it's hard for us to see everyone on time." So much for the "immediate" in their name.
