My sibling was sick, the previous doctor was clueless. According to my mom, Dr. Pearson was the only one who accurately diagnosed my sibling. Since becoming an adult, I've had to move on to the "big kid" world of medicine and have had a chance to realize that doctors like Dr. Pearson are hard to find. Dr. Pearson is extremely attentive. He spends the amount of time with you that is needed. He meticulously goes over all of your symptoms and checks all your vital signs. After discussing everything with you, he reads over his notes and sometimes your medical history. One of my favorite things about Dr. Pearson is that he is a fountain of knowledge. When I was younger, he and my mom would talk about various topics, like relevant medical studies or local issues. Now I get to be part of those discussions. Recently, I had an extremely painful sore throat that my regular clinic doctor hurriedly diagnosed. The treatment didn't seem to be working, and I was in a lot of pain, so I did the unthinkable: I made an appointment with my childhood pediatrician. So, yes, a woman in her late twenties went out of her way to see her childhood pediatrician. Why? I knew he would spend the amount of time with me needed and that he would find a good solution.

Writing this so others hopefully see and can make an informed decision. And won't be shocked when they walk through the door and see the lack of cleanliness. We found Dr Pearson/Rainier Pediatrics through our insurance company (top tier provider near our home). We should have done more digging before making an appointment from the hospital for our newborn. The office smelled of mold, was very dirty and dated. Dated is one thing, dirty in a pediatric office was concerning for us. One positive the doctor was nice and seemed caring. This wasn't for us.

The wait time its never been long, I get there for an appt and wait perhaps 5mins max. He takes his time with the consults, which is great so you dont have to worry about rushing with concerns. The most I have seen his patients are to be older, I havent seen children at the clinic, which I like, because it keeps the clinic quiet and less infectious. Lol The clinic has a little lab area, so you dont have to worry about driving any where else for that, they also have the ekg machine, I think is very handy to have a mini lab area in a clinic. He doesnt use electronic notes yaay, i love that he still writes his notes as you are talking to him and not wory like most doctors now days, to see if the system is working, if notes went to the right place or worry because they cant find previous consult in the electronic system. He did not give me care nor PT instructions! only PT aides and receptionist were available to see patients; that is my sad experience with this PT office. So, do NOT expect to be seen by a PT here for there is NONE! no one who will give you care who is a PT! The only ones who will help you are the PT aides, and it seems that I get NO relief from my back pain after two months of "physical therapy" (or pretend physical therapy) at this place. What a waste of time and money.

After no relief from my back pain after a month of therapy and finding out I had a misalignment in my hips, my lawyer suggested I see a chiropractor. I asked the physical therapist I'd been working with, Darren Mott, about it and he literally yelled at me saying I was fine and that my hips realigned themselves. It wasn't until after my lawyer spoke with him directly that he recommended a chiropractor to me. There was also two occasions when I had appointments scheduled very early in the morning with Shanik Taylor. She showed up late for both appointments and didn't even have the facility opened yet so I was sitting outside in my car for about twenty minutes, leaving the second time and missing my appointment so I could get to work on time. I decided to switch to the Meridian Physical Therapy branch which was closer to my home and in the same building as my chiropractor. When South Hill saw that I changed my appointments from their location to Meridian, they canceled them without telling me. Meridian was flexible enough to fit me in the day I showed up for my appointment without any problems. The ONLY good thing about South Hill Physical Therapy was the older gentleman named Jack. He assisted in the physical therapy workouts and always made sure you were comfortable during ESTIM.

I walked in at 7am after fasting 12 hours and driving there across town and she just greeted me with "you don't have an appointment today". When I asked why she said that I was not a patient of that particular dr's and that she had cancelled the appointment the day before. She didn't call me there was no message on my phone. She didn't send a message in the My chart system. Or maybe if she did, she sent the message to the wrong recipient. She tried to justify that i should not have been able to make the appointment with the female doctor in the first place, but I would certainly hope that if there was a problem, they would at least give me a phone call and not just cancel the appointment without calling. I can only imagine that they are all very overworked and under-staffed, which unfortunately is the state of our healthcare system these days. One star is for the Drs and the MA who seem to be very good once you can get an appointment.

I was having sciatica pain going down my left leg that made it difficult for me to sleep. After a month of treatment, I was 100 percent better. They were knowledgeable and kind. They explained things thoroughly and answered all of my questions. They listened to my symptoms and even changed their treatment as my symptoms changed. I never felt like a number to them. I will continue to choose their practice for any future treatments needed.

Easy to make and change appointments. There is little or no waiting for your appointment. I am working with Jeff who is patient, kind and explains the different exercises and what they will accomplish. I also work on exercises at home which were given to me to help in my recovery.
