Corner Cars Towing Service - Rigging attached

I contracted these knuckleheads to lift a very expensive vacuum Kiln up so we could back a trailer…read moreunder it to move it to another site The operator arrived and began rigging the kiln from the roof of the Kiln which had four lifting points which seemed easy enough from a rigging standpoint The operator, then attached to taglines so two men could actually hold the load from swinging once it was lifted into the air The Kiln was lifted. The men were drugged across the parking lot, and the Kiln smashed into the side of the building, which was corrugated metal. It seemed obvious to me that the load was not centered over the end of the crane. We studied the box/ and raised it high enough to back a trailer under it, and then set the box on the trailer We then lashed the Kiln into the trailer and headed on our way to the new location where company unloaded and set it into position for us perfectly Once it was set, I noticed that one side of the Kiln had numerous dents, scratches, smashes, etc. from the previous operator I called corner cars towing and was told he would call me back Five more phone calls and somebody finally said could you text the damage to this number? Which I did many pictures I still heard nothing I'm not sure how much the repairs would be but the external skin actually comes off with self tapping screws and it's painted black and it has the logo on it so I'm sure these things aren't cheap I would still clear of a company that won't make good on damaging something as expensive as a $50,000 vacuum kiln So now I'm left with bashing them and also taking them to court to get the funds to make the repairs to the exterior

Called for a tow not to be your therapist buddy but man sure needs one. He was so upset that he did not bring the requested flat bed, he was extremely rough on my already damaged vehicle. Precision Towing & Recovery - This is the guy that pulled a gun on me and the owner who likes to act childish and kick people's vehicle

Kevin is very rude. He threatened me for telling a person not to park in a store lot where he…read moremight be towed. He lurks behind the stores waiting for people to park so he can tow them. This is very predatory. And what is up with the stores who enable this guy? Does the fabric store, the realtor, the thrift shop (of all people!), the optical place -- do they share in some sort of financial arrangement with this towing company? Is it the building owner? Is the tow company the owner? I think this seems evil. I can't imagine anyone taking pleasure in this, but the profit motive is king. This avaricious example may illustrate why the young people in this country want radical change. As a tourist destination, the "grand strand" might consider putting a stop to these practices. How about some win-win thinking: Given the area's attractions, people would gladly pay to park in this lot. So, the owner of the lot would make money and people would not be towed. Maybe even Make the Strand Grand Again!

In the way of helping you get your vehicle back, they will damage your property. They are absolutely some of the most rude people on the planet. And will make it almost impossible for you to pick up your own property. There is no one ever in the office. No, one ever returns your calls. And they will leave the office early and just not enter the door to be able to hold your car for the weekend again. And drive the price up more. It is an absolutely ridiculous company. And they should not be allowed to operate

I would strongly caution anyone visiting the Georgetown, SC area about using BOFUS Towing…read more While we were on vacation, our vehicle was towed in what should have been a routine tow. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We were charged what we believe was an excessive amount, and after reviewing Georgetown's towing ordinance, we believe several of the ordinance's requirements were not followed during the towing process. Instead of receiving professional and transparent service, we felt taken advantage of during an already stressful situation. Visitors to the area should familiarize themselves with their rights under local towing regulations and carefully review any charges before just assuming the company that comes out is trustworthy. We did our research and contacted the appropriate authorities who led us in the right direction to inform BOFUS they overcharged us. Thankfully BOFUS acknowledged they were in the wrong and refunded the excess amount they charged above what they were legally bound to. We hope this review helps others avoid the frustration and expense we experienced in an already stressful time.

My daughter's boyfriend came down for a few days while we were at the beach. While driving through…read moreGeorgetown he felt light headed and drove off the road into a ditch. SCHP responded and requested a tow for him. Bofus came out and was able to pull him out of the ditch (it took 1 minute and 22 seconds). The truck was drivable and was not loaded on the tow truck. When he went to settle the bill he was told it was $434. I felt the charge was excessive and questioned the driver. He said it was $272 for him just to come out and $162 to pull him out. I contacted the SCHP supervisor and questioned the cost of the tow. I was told that the $162 additional charge was for a "special" tow. After determining our tow was indeed not a "special" tow, it was deemed that the driver could not charge the additional $162 and was made to refund that amount (which they did). If SCHP requests a tow and there's not any "special" circumstances about your tow, the max fee they can charge is $272. I feel that the tow driver knew he couldn't charge that amount but did so anyway thinking he would just pay the bill and not follow through with a complaint to SCHP. Beware of add on charges!!

DART AUTOMOTIVE is the place to go!!…read more I am 13 hours away and take care of our kids vehicles myself, so when my son called an said his car was not starting I needed a reliable auto repair center in Conway, SC. My son is at Coastal and his car wouldnt start at all on Wednesday. I was referred by DARRELLS BODY SHOP ( ANOTHER GREAT GROUP WHO PROVIDED SOLID ADVICE). I called DART's and spoke with Samantha (VERY HELPFUL!!) who told us to get the car there ASAP and she would do her best to have techician look it over before the end of day. Mind you, I spoke with her around 1130am on Wednesday. Vehicle arrived at their facilty around 1245pm and by the end of the day we had a fare estitmate (discounts for CCU student or AAA whichever is best she said). Vehicle work was completed as promised the next day by late morning for my son to pick up. They handled all paperwork through secure texting and document signing and payment. All work done within 24 hours, OUTSTANDING TEAM DART!!! COULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANY EASIER!!! GO TO DART AUTOMOTIVE or DARRELL BODY SHOP. GOOD LUCK DAVID

Speedily, Dart comes to recue with a Tow. They put the most elaborate diagnostic machine i have ever seen on it. The desk guy tells me, "We THINK its the High pressure oil valve." Oh no, i think, that's inside the engine. I should have said NO, i can't let you partially disassemble an engine on "we think" but i didn't cause i was leaving in 3 days for 4 months. Gave them permission, took about 9 hrs to disassemble and find out , Nope, that's not the problem. Asked permission to drain oil to check for contaminents, came back an hour later with, "Yes, you have metal in your oil, engine is shot, minimum of $35,000.00 for a new engine" I said, are you crazy, i ain't spending that. I got the guy directly behind them to tow to his shop, Twisted Wrench. A week later, he says, Yep, engine is shot. Finally got them to deliver my truck to my house, Twisted Wrench double charged me for the tow cause he was trying to steal at a cheep cheep price from me. I GOT a true diesel mechanic to fix it. ONCE he put back together the disassembled engine Dart left me with, he fixed it. He said, with those trucks, it's usually 4 things that go wrong 1) Low pressure oil valve 2) High pressure oil valve and i forget the other 2 things. All mine was, the $75 OEM low pressure valve and because my truck is lifted, that valve is right in front of your face. WHY THE HECK didn't Dart try a $75 part 1st....Stupid and Retarded if you ask me. By them missing the $75 part, they charged me almost $1,300.00 and left me with a partially disabled engiine that cost me lots to reassemble. I wouldn't recommend them to Anyone!!!! I asked the desk guy for a refund, he asked the owner, He replied NO! For Dart services I would recommend NO!!!!
